Definitely not authentic, but still tasted decent…read more
The restaurant is located right at the centre of the marina strip. It has patio seating outside as well as indoor seating. Patio seating is great for people watching. Service was very friendly, spoke English and chatted with me for a while.
I ordered the Pad See Ew (13,90 Euro) which comes with eggs, carrots, onions and spring onions. You have your choice of veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp, and all sorts of other meats. I chose the chicken. When it arrived I was surprised that the dish came with thin, soft rice noodles instead of the thick flat ones. I'm used to the thicker ones. The flavour was also not authentic. It tasted more like Chinese Chow Mein than Pad See Ew. That being said, it was flavourful, and was packed with chicken and other ingredients. The ratio between noodle and chicken was good and the portion size was good. Not too big or small.
So if you're not too picky about authenticity, this place is decent. I'll give it a "indifferent" rating as I can't recommend it or tell people to avoid it.
