A tasty sample of top chef creations in a shopping mall. Mar Vista is a higher end shopping mall in…read morePortigal catering to tourists with some cash to spend so why not elevate the experience with higher end food too? I've eaten food from here about 6 times now and I'm always happy with the quality (and the price). An entree with a large Estrella beer is only 13 Euros. Under $15.00. It's such a treat to enjoy fabulous food while having to do some shopping, great for the chefs as well. I'm excited to try the Michelin Star restaurant Thai Garden in Vale Do Lobo by the same chef. What a wonderful idea to bring high end dining to everyone while they're out shopping. Since it is in the mall you do order at the front and then can sit in the small space they have or anywhere in the food court (which is very pretty) or even outside. They give you a beeper so you can wander while they are preparing your meal. If you order a beer they don't give it to you until the order is ready but just ask to give it to you hen and they are happy to pour the draft so you can enjoy while you chill (or shop). The food is so yummy that it's even worth going tithe mall just to eat. As for the mall it is beautiful with trendy designs. Haagen das looks like a floating space ship in the middle of the second floor. Outside offers outlet shops in a quaint village looking setting. If you have kids they will love the outdoor ponds, water features and also play space. Fun day or half day outing. Enjoy.

We ordered appetizers and drinks were served by a fantastic staff lead "Archana" ! What a service and amazing attention !! Our appetizers were Tom Yam Soup, Veggie Fritters and Spring roles with Singas Thai beer. Main course was Ke Mao Flat noodles with mix veggies, Pad Thai with Veggies and Mix Veg In Green curry with steamed Rice. All of it was outstanding with authentic taste and quality. I would have given five stars if the price was bit reasonable:) ! In Villamoura this is a great restaurant. I can't believe that I found such good Thai food in Portugal and that also in Algarve!!

Definitely not authentic, but still tasted decent…read more The restaurant is located right at the centre of the marina strip. It has patio seating outside as well as indoor seating. Patio seating is great for people watching. Service was very friendly, spoke English and chatted with me for a while. I ordered the Pad See Ew (13,90 Euro) which comes with eggs, carrots, onions and spring onions. You have your choice of veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp, and all sorts of other meats. I chose the chicken. When it arrived I was surprised that the dish came with thin, soft rice noodles instead of the thick flat ones. I'm used to the thicker ones. The flavour was also not authentic. It tasted more like Chinese Chow Mein than Pad See Ew. That being said, it was flavourful, and was packed with chicken and other ingredients. The ratio between noodle and chicken was good and the portion size was good. Not too big or small. So if you're not too picky about authenticity, this place is decent. I'll give it a "indifferent" rating as I can't recommend it or tell people to avoid it.
