The menu is in German only, since I don't speak Thai or read German it could have being a quick turn around. Luckily I know my thai food, Pad Kee Mao, the lady behind the counter knew I was talking about and I paid up. Food came out really quickly even though it is a two ladies, two cook station setup. They seem to do a lot of take-outs for locals, and it got pretty cramped with locals getting "super noodles" and others. The Pad Kee Mao I got didn't have all 5 components of thai food, it was a European version of it, but they saved it by having all of the right condiments (fish sauce, chilis, peanuts, vinegar, and others) on the table. For the price point, location, and everything given, this was a pretty good spot, I can see why the locals keeping packing this place.

The restaurant is very small and there's not a lot of spots too sit, but I've never seen it full. I don't think that they have a/c or at least it doesn't feel like it. They do have a large patio area out front, considering the size of the place. I've been here twice and I keep getting number 38. It's a chicken cashew dish with veggies. The roasted cashews are heavenly and the sauce with it is so delicious. You feel like it must be relatively healthy right? I have also tried the pad Thai which was very good as well. My boyfriend got the pineapple chicken dish and it was tasty but I didn't like the tomato based sauce as much. The service is friendlier than most places here and quick. And they have takeout if you're feeling super lazy.

I never had an urge to go to this place despite passing it for a year (and even when I lived off of Berger Strasse). The place is called 'Thai Food' for goodness sake. Not that it ever made me question what they served... The first time I went here I ordered a duck red curry. Okay, so it is slightlyyyyy westernized. The only place not too western in Frankfurt seems to be Aroydee, but in all honestly, I think their quality is starting to suffer. Thai Food seems to be on point. While the menu may contain a few western items, they definitely put some Southeast Asian flair into things. And holy smokes- I could actually taste the layers of flavors for ONCE around these parts. Usually Germans like their 'curries' sooooo over-the-top sweet. I hate this. It is unbalanced. Thai Food knows what's up. Fish sauce *yum* mixed with coconut milk and palm sugar mixed with kaffir lime and lemongrass. New favorite place. No joke.
