Don't let the outside scare you!!! May not look great outside but inside is clean and amazing service. After a 22 hour straight drive all Elena (my wife) and I wanted was some spicy Asian food for dinner. I found this place randomly and pushed the gas to make it here before they closed and so happy I did. The Pad Thai was some of the most legit pad Thai I have had, and that's saying a lot as I have had it all over the world. I always say if pad Thai is orange send it back and run! As you can see this was not and it tasted great. The Penang curry was a little off and needed some more fish sauce, but spicy and hit the spot. read more

Don't let the outside put you off. The inside is clean and the food is really good. Dumplings and Rangoon were both fresh and flavorful. Mongolian beef and sesame chicken both made to order with good spice. Service was friendly and efficient. Great alternative to the fast food grind. read more

Great food and service. I had the Drunken Noodles with tofu and hubby had the Spicy Catfish - both were delicious. The exterior isn't much to look at so don't let that deter you - inside has nice decor and very clean. read more

Yum! I agree with other reviewers. Stop reading this and just go!! The food was fresh and so delicious. I had drunken noodles and there was a little something *extra in there that put this dish over the top, compared to others I have had. Some kind of magic . I ate much more than I had room for, but didn't want to stop! The staff was very attentive, recognizing I was multi- tasking a call while I shoveled dinner in. Several asked if I was all set and got me another beverage. I will be back when I am in Rock Springs! read more

New ownership, not as good as it used to be. Food was still ok, service fine, pleasant atmosphere

Stopped here on our road trip about a week ago. YUM! Maybe the best Thai food we've ever had. We care deeply about food and pride ourselves at finding anazing food to enjoy, especially on road trips. The owner/chef went above and beyond. Our food was to go; the red curry was HUGE and so very delicious, and the pad sew ew was outstanding. And also huge. It was marked on our map, because we will be back, 1,500 miles away or not. Also, I used the bathroom to wash my contacts and it was very clean and nice! Something to be said when you're touching your eyes in a public bathroom. The owner cares about the customer and the food! read more

Thai Chef 9 - I didn't get a picture of the food because after we took one look we inhaled it. So here's an ambiance photo I did take. - Thai Near Me - Rock Springs, Wyoming

The server was nice, and I really appreciated that she brought out chili oil when I asked for it. The food was just okay. The yellow curry was not as flavorful or spicy as I had expected, and I wish there were twice the amount of carrots. I was also confused by the pineapple chunks in it? However, the chicken was really tender! The beef and pineapple stir fry was fine, but the vegetables were a little underdone. read more

I am a California native and have tried so many different Thai restaurants over the years. Never in my wildest dreams would I have anticipated finding such a delicious spot in the middle of Wyoming! From the outside, it looks a little run down, old, and somewhat isolated. Inside, the decor is a little dated and it's nothing fancy, but it was clean, cute, and honestly very comfortable. Even the bathrooms were clean! We were welcomed in, sat, and were served in a surprisingly quick amount of time. The man was very kind, patient, and gentle. You can tell the owners do put love into their food and whether you're a local, a regular, or just a traveler passing through Rock Springs... I HIGHLY suggest stopping in for a bite to eat. Literally the best shrimp Pad Thai that we have ever had! We also had the beef basil stir fry and it was fine, not bad but not as good as that pad Thai! Will be back for it for sure read more

This place was surprisingly good. This place looks like it used to be a fast food place, and it looks a bit run down outside, but the food was quite good. Vegetarian review: drunken noodles w/tofu. It was slightly sweeter than the standard, but still great in flavor and substance. Tofu was plentiful and there were veggies as well. Vegetarian comment: almost anything can be made with tofu, which was nice to see. Service was ok. Short and to the point, but not necessarily lacking. Parking was a breeze. read more

Was not expecting to come across great Thai food in Rock Springs, but this place exceeded my expectations. I had the chicken satay and spring rolls and both were made fresh and had lots of flavor. It did appear that the owner is also the waiter, chef, and person that helps check you out at the register so be prepared for a longer wait than usual for your food/order process. Regardless, the wait was worth it and I truly enjoyed this lunch. read more

Great food! Can't judge this book by its cover. The place is clean and the service was quick and the curry (Masaman) was good (not excellent but very good). The pad Thai was a bit too saucy (liquid) but acceptable. The interior is simple and neat but the exterior looks very plain and not well kept or landscaped, so don't give up just based on the exterior appearance. You won't be disappointed with this place. read more

This was a very unsatisfactory experience from walking in to walking out. First it looks like the 80s but we were still happy to try because we have had many Thai restaurants that looked unassuming but was fantastic, this was not one of them. We got 4 water and ordered 3 dishes, of them only the drunken noodles was good, that Panang curry had zero flavor, not joke.. like in ZERO flavor, when we told the waiter he just said "no English " when we went to pay and asked about it he offered 50% off the Panang, meaning he understood English..... The one star is for the drunken noodles, we won't come back. read more

This restaurant is not run by Thai people, and the food is terrible. They charged me twice for the same meal, I used Apple Pay for the first payment, and the transaction showed as successful. However, he claimed he didn't receive it and asked me to pay a second time using my wells fargo card. When I checked with my bank, both transactions went through successfully, but he refused to refund me and said he didn't care. and even though I showed them proof of the bank transaction, they still refused to refund the extra $36.99. I'm a traveler just passing through this city, and I will definitely never come back here again. Stay away from this restaurant if you don't want to get scammed like I did

Solid 4, maybe 4.5. We had pad se we tofu and veggie and mei fun chicken noodles. Both were delicious. I really couldn't say anything that could be improved upon. Smoky and balanced. So good. It was a clean restaurant and the waiter was good. He was kind of somber but we managed to get a smile out of him. I liked him. I would go back weekly if I lived here. They have a gem. It's hard to get good Thai/vietnamese food let alone at the same place! I should have gotten a Thai iced tea and one more dish for the road. I also liked the Buddah picture and the little pineapple candies at the end of the meal. read more

Excellent food - I've eaten Thai food all over the country and theirs rivals any I've tried. The curry dishes and spicy catfish are amazing! read more

This is the best Thai food in sweet water county. The Pad Thai is really moist, tangy sweet, and the chicken is cooked to perfection. I'm from the Bay Area and this surpasses most Thai places I've gone to and grew up with. The menu has a variety of Asian cuisines ranging from mostly Thai to Cantonese and Vietnamese dishes like pho noodle soup. Highly recommend and it's definitely my town favorite. read more

We were driving through and stayed the night at our favorite hotel. The front desk recommended this place and it was pretty good! I loved my Padang curry with chicken and my hubby got Pad Prik King with Pork. Spicy!! The service was great and the ambiance sub par. Don't let the building fool you. Maybe one day they can update the building and it wouldn't make you pause to order here. I would come back to order here the only disappointment was the fresh rolls! Bummer! We were on our way to Yellowstone from Colorado, and we were friendly greeted by the staff, and the lady that took our order was extremely patient with us. We ordered the fried rice and the drunken noodles both with pork, and the pineapple curry with beef. The curry was absolutely fantastic, the meats were very tender and seasoned well. The drunken noodles were great, the fried rice met expectations. Very homey environment, please don't hold back from going here due to the location. We will absolutely be back when we are in the area. Fantastic Thai food, some of the best curry I've had in a very long time. I love finding authentic Asian restaurants in random parts of the country. My partner and I visited Rock Springs for work, and Thai Chef caught my eye on Yelp. Second time going to the Green River location. My husband got the chicken chow mien and daughter got chicken fried rice. Big delicious veggies in both. Pad Thai is my usual favorite so I ordered that here and I'd give it a 3 out of 5, noodles were soggy soggy and I asked more medium spicy but it was not spicy at all.
