We loved seeing his prior work and decided to sign up for mini sessions during the early November timeframe. Our mini session lasted approximately 20 minutes and Nate was able to capture beautiful photos of our family. Our son is on the autism spectrum and never looks at the camera but he was able to get a few adorable shots of him looking at the camera. The session was low key and absolutely stress free. We had the privilege to work with Thach Photography for our engagement, elopement, AND wedding, and could not be happier! We knew that our photographer was going to be one of the most important vendors that we booked for our wedding, and did a lot of research to find local photographers that matched the style/budget we were aiming for. Not only did Thach Photography meet all of our needs, but booking them ended up being one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! Nathan did our engagement photos and it was a great way to get acquainted before the wedding day. We started off shooting around the Capitol, but it happened to be the same day as prom and there were a crazy amount of people already there taking photos as well! However, Nathan was able to easily navigate this and you couldn't even tell how crowded it was there looking at the photos afterwards. He also got us the most perfect golden hour photos at the Tower Bridge! After COVID hit, we sadly postponed our wedding, but Nathan was understanding and there was no issue with moving our date. We decided to still have an intimate elopement with just the two of us on our original date, and he helped us to find a good location and capture the ceremony, which we greatly appreciated! We had to significantly modify our actual wedding, but Nathan was flexible with all of the changes. Once the day of our postponed wedding finally arrived, we had no worries about Nathan and his wife Kristine - they came on time and immediately got to work! They were efficient, familiar with our timeline, and knew exactly what they were doing, so we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. They were great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera but also at giving direction when needed. During the times we weren't taking official photos, we barely noticed that they were there, but felt reassured that they were capturing everything. Throughout the entire process of us working together (which ended up spanning several years due to COVID), Nathan was always professional but fun and easy to work with, and we could count on him for prompt replies and turnaround time. His pricing is more than reasonable for the quality of work. We never felt like a burden despite all of the changes and are so thankful to both Nathan and Kristine for helping to make our wedding day go so smoothly and be such a success! The only way I know how to describe Thach Photography is the feeling of relief when Nathan & Kristine arrived on the morning of our wedding day. I instantly felt a sense of calm rush over me. Hiring Thach Photography was the easiest decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Nathan & Kristine were the photographers for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in a few years ago and I remember watching them in awe and amazement, secretly wishing they would capture my wedding one day. We moved to Elk Grove from the Bay Area last year and I dreaded trying out different photographers to find "the one." Long story short, Thach Photography (Nate) is amazing and is now our official family photographer after just one session. We did a mini session with him and he was great to work with and best part is that he interacted well with our kids. He took amazing photos of our children and captured us as a family beautifully. This review is long overdue! My husband and I used Thach Photography for our wedding earlier this year in June and we had such a great experience. Their services were also very reasonably priced. Nathan took our engagement photos and he was really great at incorporating our feedback in terms of our preferences / locations and also provided his own input as well for us to take into consideration. We were both not used to posing for photos, but he did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable and provided guidance. The turnaround for the photos were very timely and turned out great! For our wedding, both Nathan and Kristine were there. Both of them were so sweet and considerate on the day of the wedding. They were very flexible in working with our schedule (even when there were some delays!) and were very efficient as well. They were both so professional, even though I'm sure it was a really long day for them. Afterwards, we received "sneak peeks" of our wedding photos almost immediately and shortly after, received the entire collection of our wedding photos. The photos were sent over in a cute, customized wooden box which contained a flashdrive and a few photo print outs. We are really happy with our wedding (and engagement) photos and would wholeheartedly recommend Thach Photography! read more

We wanted to get some updated family pictures (including our dogs) last year. The pictures turned out so wonderful! He chose the perfect location, made sure we got some of the shots we wanted and directed us with ease. He made us feel extremely comfortable and was able to get some very natural pictures. My husband and I started using Thach Photography over a year ago when our Maternity Shoot photographer fell ill and cancelled. Nathan agreed to do our shoot last minute and it was the best thing that could have happened. He has a true tallent for taking beautiful pictures and we just loved all the different angles and lighting effects he was able to capture. Nathan is very professional but still makes the experience fun and lighthearted. He even gave us a better deal than our original photographer!
