I often wondered what is appealing with the concept and I cannot speak for everyone else but the combination of low prices and stuff that is not necessarily the best quality can be good when you just need something for using once or for a short period of time. This location is big and spacious to be a TGR store and it actually makes it a lot easier to navigate than most other of their stores.

This whole place had a lot of different local items that were so cute. Some items included: jewelry, kitchen gadgets, backpacks/wallets, notebooks, cards, soaps, stuffed animals and other kids items. I picked up a handful of smaller items that didn't seem unreasonably priced. The woman working at the counter was also super cool, and asked if I wanted to get my items tax free and explained the process for when I go home and showed me details of how to do it.

They have quite a collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations to remember your time in Stockholm. But they also have postcards, trays, kitchen towels and stuffed animals. All at differing price points that I felt were more than reasonable. The delightful owner indicates they are closed on Sunday but otherwise open until 5. You will definitely find something nice here in this cute shop far away from the main tourist drag.

Then Design Torget is the right place to go to. Design Torget got a lot of gizmos and things you don't really need but tons of stuff that might wow you for a month or two. I usually go here when I am bored or when I would like to kill some time while in town. It does baffle me how I always end up finding some cool gadget that someone invented that would solve some small first world problem of mine. Sadly things are pretty expensive and I usually end up leaving empty handed from the store. I do highly recommend entering one or two Design Torget stores though, it is like an amusement park for materialists!
