I felt cared for and appreciated during my 45 minutes at this Baycare imaging facility. At 1:15, Debra checked me in with efficiency and courtesy. She was very friendly and helpful. While I waited to be seen for my ultrasound, I completed forms given to me by Debra. When I was done, I was given a soft pink bathrobe for my gown and a pink bag to use for my clothing. Celena came for me as soon as I was done changing. She was patient, efficient, professional, and kind. It was actually quite relaxing to be laying on her table! After 15 minutes, she asked me to wait while the doctor read my ultrasound. After he compared it to my mammogram, she returned and said that the doctor found nothing abnormal. She said everything appeared fine. I changed my clothes and I was done! This was a very pleasant experience and I will return next year.

My doctor originally sent the order to BayCare, but the soonest appointment they had was a month away... at 5:45 a.m. on a Sunday. Absolutely not. So I started calling around and Gulf Coast MRI got me in the very next day. Immediate win. From the moment I walked in, the ladies in the office were AMAZING. This was my first MRI ever -- and I ended up needing two -- and they walked me through everything step by step. They were so kind, so patient, and totally held my hand through the whole process. They didn't take my insurance insurance (but they do take some), but it was $300 per body part, and honestly, between my HSA and what I would've paid toward my deductible anyway, it probably cost me the same (or less). For next-day service? Worth. Every. Penny. The machine is loud (no surprise there), but they let me jam to 80s music the whole time, which made it way less intimidating and honestly kind of a vibe. I walked out with two CDs in hand and they let me know my doctor would have the radiology report within a few business days. Efficient, friendly, professional, and just overall great humans. If you need an MRI and don't want to wait weeks while living in pain, this is your place. Total rock stars!

But that phone call was to tell me the tech was sick, so I was reschedule for today. Never got a message or call to confirm or reschedule today. Maybe because of the holiday? But that's no excuse. So here I am, rescheduling with Kim, who feels awful about my predicament, for 7/8 at another office. Both times before I called back to reschedule. Since I did not receive a call or message, I could not do that for today. In the future, I'll call the day before to confirm. Unfortunately 7/4 was the day before & a holiday. I also should have rescheduled the first appointment (6/6) to first available at any of their offices.

Although I had a few speed bumps enroute getting to my appointment, the staff here handled it like the professionals that they are. SCENE ONE - THE LOBBY AND STAFF: From the moment you walk in the door you will notice that the construction of this lobby is better than saying it is plainly attractive. From the flooring to the furniture to the color choices on the walls, this place is very well done. Turning my review to the staff that will be tending to you ... I am almost certain that you will find them as I did, And that is courteous and well-mannered as they truly define professionalism. CATHERINE THE GREAT (nurse): I was tended to by Catherine, who was exuded professionalism, patience, wit and the beauty of charm, all in one package. Noting that, any procedure concerns that I may have had coming into the building were inquired about and satiating answers were provided. Thinking about it now... Did I really go to somene who could have been nicknamed "Cat" as I was being set up for a cat scan? How literal! It is like picking up a crate of forks with a forklift! IV PLAY: This next part is for anyone who has never had an IV before... Today I had my second IV ever, in less than three months time. It was quick and rendered the pain that comes with a pinch. Oh, for any kids out there, or their parents (let them know that - ZOINKS! - this is only Scooby-Doo scary). Another compliment has to be given to Catherine for taking the time to shave the area on my arm where my IV was going to be applied ... Otherwise I would be crying like a schoolgirl when it came time to remove the bandage :-) SCENE TWO - THE ZEN DEN: The room I was in was tastefully decorated with oil paintings, an Asian-inspired room dividing screen, an attractive assortment of furniture - including a very comfortable leather recliner. They also had music, via a small boombox, to help you relax, if you so requested it. COMEDIC PONDERINGS: Everything seems so perfect so, I sort of chuckled and thought about Soylent Green for a moment before getting my mind refocused on lowering my heart rate as best I could. SCENE THREE - THE SCAN: I was moved to a second room where the Philips brand cat scan machine was located. Here I laid down and was made to feel very cared about. For example, I was the recipient of two warmed blankets and pillows were.placed to enhance the level of comfort I experienced. There is nothing to be worried about during this step either. It is simple enough... you just lay there, be still.and the machine will tell you when to hold your breath and that is it. 30-SECONDS SHOT CLOCK: In the end, it took me all of about 2 hours to have this procedure complete. Most of it was just me relaxing in a recliner... not a bad way to spend any portion of your day. NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN: Oh I want to add that I was also tended to by Sue, who was on hand while the scan was being done. It was more than obvious that this was not her first rodeo. I like when you can see the confidence... when actions are second nature. Sue gave me that assurance via her mannerisms. PARKING LOT: The parking here is easy as pie. They have spots on multiple sides of the building and because this building shares the development with other offices the parking is extremely plentiful. LOCATION: If you're coming south on Little Road, you will want to pull into the first driveway once you pass Mitchell High School and then Photonics Drive. as you drive forward deeper into the development you will see the sign on the side of the building that reads, "RA Radiology Associates An Image You Can Trust"... EPILOGUE: I always say that as a business you can advertise in newspapers, in magazines, on television and on the radio but, your greatest marketing tool is word of mouth. The location was clean and well maintained with a large waiting room. There is a Walgreens right next door as well, which made getting my prescription very convenient. I was in and out within 30 minutes, and only had a 15 minute wait next door to get my prescription at Walgreens. Great experience, would definitely recommend!

Well this is an urgent care make sure when you stop here that they actually do take your insurance…read morenot only for the visit but for the doctor that's on site I was receiving bills after I was there and found out that the doctor wasn't even part of the health insurance plan I had. So my copay was covered for visit but not the medical staff that saw me. Contacted my health insurance company and let them know about the situation. I was credited by the urgent Care for charges as they weren't approved medically to treat under my insurance plan.

But the billing office is terrible. Be careful. I don't know how you can protect yourself. Back in August, 2025, I had a test and owed $22.53, which I paid with my credit card. In about January, 2026, I got a call from the biling office requesting payment. I spent about 1/12 hours on a call with the excel biller plus my credit union plus visa. Visa said they would contact Excel later which Excel says Visa did not do. Later, I sent the transaction number to Excel but Excel said their back office could not find it. Excel called me again for the transaction number and I told her I was done with this. But I called my credit union and they researched it to come up with the same transaction number and said it was proof they had paid. There was more wasted time with my credit union. Today, april or 2026, I am mailing the letter the credit card company sent me to Excel along with the bill they sent me again. Here is my take on it. Excel has a problem with young, untrained and unknowlegeable staff who do not know how to check a simple problem. OR they may have a major theft problem. I have invested about five hours of my life trying to accomodate Excel. I am not their employee. Instead of hiring and training people to do the billing, when there is problem, they keep cqlling the customer to solve the problem for them.

This is not the most pleasant exam, but she made it as pleasant as she could. I haven't been here in awhile. The parking lot is big. I found a place close to the east entrance door. Inside, there are 4 hallways, but it is easy to find central checkin in Suite 10, a large waiting room. They have a TV, a bookcase with books (50¢ each, if you want to own one), and up to date magazines. There is plenty of room for wheelchairs. The waiting room for mammograms is small & cozy, with low lighting. But I only waited a minute here. The exam room is spacious, and well lit. I will definitely make future appointments at this location.

I filled up my paperwork. When I came back inside they told me that I needed to wear a mask. I told them that I get headaches from it one of the reasons I need to get the test done. Then they said if you don't wear one you are not going to do the test. All the staff came to the front basically arguing with me telling me that I needed to leave if I don't wear a mask. What a joke people!!

They treated me as if it was my fault and were very rude. I always use Radiologst Associates big mistake to change. Encourage my doctor to use the later. I would advise you to do the same.
