Had a great time here. They had a big sale and honestly they had a good system down where everyone doesn't go crazy. They had alot of good stuff and very well organized. If you need a deal this place is to check out

The backpack of the lady considered "purse " for the store

I have been in this store several times in the past 2 years and had good experience until today that definitely made me don't want to come back no more. This morning at the front door a lady that is always there giving you flyers asked me to leave my purse on the floor behind the door because the new policy says that "not big bags at the store " I explained her that was my purse and that my personal stuff was in there (phone, wallet, female stuff, AirPods, etc..) even with the explanation I decided to respect the policy and follow the rules because as a business owner and a store owner I know policies and rules are importan to follow. So I decided to take my purse "bag" to my car and carried my phone and my wallet on my hands. When I came back to the store at the front door was a lady wearing a big backpack and the lady by the front door didn't say anything about it... and I questioned her why she didn't ask her to leave her big bag as she asked me and she said that was because it was her purse... really? . Here the problem... when you have policies and rules, make sure to apply them to everyone, because if you don't do that the only thing that you create is a conflict. I'm sorry but I can't keep quiet when something like this happens, this is discrimination. I asked the lady and mentioned her that this was discrimination because her explanation was just keep saying that my purse was a bad and the backpack was a purse. She threatened me saying that she will tell her supervisor and I encourage her to do that because that could help to explain me why the policy was just applied to me. The supervisor thought that the problem was me complaining about the policy, I had to explain in several times that the problem was discrimination. I had to walk outside with him to show him my purse... he basically said that my purse was considered a grocery shopping bag and the lady big Backpack was considered a purse. I just told him that I won't come back to this store and he agreed. Very bad attitude, not problem solving skills, bad presentation, this is the people that represents this company. I definitely never will be back to this store, and I will share this experience as much as I can. I'm adding a picture of my bag "purse " and the other lady backpack.

It is a shame that a thrift store are selling the used stuffs more expensive than new. I went yesterday and they had a dishes set ( incomplete) just 14 pieces for 29.99$ when in dollar three I could buy 30 pieces for the price they are asking for 14.

    Color coordinated.

Idk. Somethings were definitely overpriced and their writing on tags is kinda hard to read sometimes.

My favorite thrift store in Killeen! Well organized clothes, good prices, and a clean store.

I start looking around at the front because this was my 1st time (and last) in the store and they still do not acknowledge my presence (I am standing literally 10ft away from all 3 looking a bit dazed as there was so much clutter everywhere that you did not really have a focus point to look at. I then make my way back to the men's shirts (that's what I came in for) and I find that yes they may be colorized but sizing..GOOD LUCK!!!! It was a total roll of the dice what size you were going to come to next....S,XL,L,M,XXL......but worse than that was that the racks were sooooo tight that you could not slide a hanger left or right, not a single cm!! There were shirts fallen down under the racks, horrible and the smell, grandmas attic. But lucky for me I did find 3 tshirts and after wandering the women's section which I actually pulled about 10 pair of shorts off the rack just so I could see what was on it the bar was that tight. But a laughable moment was when I picked up a pair of Walmart tennis shoes that looked like they were 15yrs old and a mess and out of curiosity looked at the tag, $35! Ohhh myyy! This store is in big trouble if they do not find fashionable buyers and fix their floor. So then I go to the register to pay, total inconvenience for them I could tell but one of the men's tshirts still had the store tag $6.88 and they were pricing it $10. I showed Faith, my cashier who took it over to another young girl and came back and said "this is what our system priced it at, nothing we can do" I said no thanks I will go buy it new. As a DM for Uptown Cheapskate, I would be appalled if one of my stores looked like this or my associates treated customers with such disregard to not even say hello upon entering. I was very excited to see this store and go in until I got in it. If I were the owner of this franchised store I would strongly consider an overhaul or it just is not going to last long in the current condition. Very very sad to see. There is soooo much potential in these resale stores if run properly but these are deadly to the longevity of the store mistakes. I hope this review is taken with care as it is not to degrade but is to help. I wish success for any business owner, especially in resale! Happy Selling!
