Not really sure why every billing cycle for the last 5 months has been incorrect. Have asked for corrected invoices multiple times and they just don't care enough to correct them. Service is meh. Not any worse than any other mowing service, but for the premium price they charge and the billing aggravation, it should be better than average. They have also left my gate wide open after leaving, so my dogs aren't safe. I will probably end up finding another mowing service if I get one more incorrect invoice.

There's also some area that gets too much rain (drainage issue) and the grass is dead because of it and soil got washed away. I reached out to Adrian and before you know it, the crew has transformed my backyard into zero grass space in a matter of days and now I actually like spending time in my backyard. His estimate is reasonable and he is very responsive to questions and changes that I had along the way. His crew always on time each morning and they clean up before they leave each day which is a nice surprise. The project was completed earlier than planned which really made my day! If you plan to do something with your yard this summer, don't think twice. I highly recommend Twins landscaping to do the job, you won't be disappointed. Check out my before and after pictures!

While I was setting up Christmas decorations, I observed that one of the bushes has begun to regrow, which seems to be regarded as a miracle since the root ball was supposedly removed! Additionally, I noticed that a considerable portion of the newly installed concrete slab is distinctly discolored due to inconsistent or improper mixing. Unfortunately it seems I will have to resolve this through our court system.

I have used Bioscapes on three major projects and have been completely satisfied with the results…read moreof their services that included meeting with me and helping me with the designing and planning of each project. The project included a complicated French drain that started in the far side of my backyard and extended down the fence line of my property and emptied into the front lawn. The second project, which occurred a couple of years later was to install new sod in my front yard. The most recent project was to replace existing grass from one side of my yard and replace with gravel and step stones. None of the projects were simple one day projects. In most cases the jobs were 2-3 days of hard laborious work for the workers. Speaking of the workers. Pete Facundo is the director of the Bioscapes projects. Pete has always been honest, patient and a professional to work with. His employees are well trained and skillful in the performance of their work. They are respectful and courteous to their customers and their neighbors at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Pete and Bioscapes for your landscaping project.

For the past two years, we've had nasty flash floods that have left us collectively about $30,000…read morein debt, even with flood insurance. The house is built on a hill, and when a heavy rain hits us after a dry spell, bad things happen. When the last payout finally came in, we'd planned to earmark a big chunk for fixing the drainage once and for all. Enter Keep Austin Landscaped. Even though our house is small and they usually don't do such small jobs, they came up with a great plan to reroute the water from uphill and guide it around our house to prevent flooding. Initially they suggested an inexpensive galvanized wire and rock wall to keep the water from flowing into our house, but later decided that a better, solid concrete retaining wall would do the job better - - for just the same price. And then, of course, COVID happened. Nevertheless, the KAL team was still ready to work with us as long as we gave the workers their distance, which of course was only fair. I really appreciated them coming out and risking getting sick to do that work, especially when we were really scared that any time now we might flood again. Our uphill neighbors initially agreed to allow us to install a French drain on their property to allow water to drain into the alley behind our houses instead of into our house, but then reneged for reasons we still don't understand. We offered to adjust planning to take any specific concerns into account or seek mediation, but they insisted that we not do anything on their side of the hill. Of course it's difficult to route water away from a house down hill if you can't do anything before the water gets there! The nice folks at KAL tried several times to speak to my neighbors in both English and Spanish on our behalf, and in the end our neighbors allowed them to complete the plan by extending gravel drainage along the shared fence. We've just had the first heavy rain after a dry spell since they've been out here, and not a hint of flooding. Working with them has been an absolute joy, and we heartily recommend them for anyone with a landscaping or drainage issue.

Nicolas was extremely fast in responding to my initial requests, where other companies failed to respond at all. In addition to our stone hardscape they also installed a french drain to ease the pooling problems we were having. We had such a good experience, we had him come back and rework a section of our front yard to replace some old pavers with a more modern look and additional plants. He even went out of his way to put my old pavers up for sale and brought the money made back to me! All around great service and very communicative. I'm a tough critic with contractors. Detail-oriented, a bit of a perfectionist, and probably not…read morethe easiest homeowner to work with. So I don't say this lightly: Laguna Landscaping is by far the best contractor I've ever worked with. We've now used them at two houses. After getting a pool built by a different company, we brought them in to redo all of our landscaping, and working with Frank has been seamless. It was a large project and every detail was accounted for. With all contracting projects there are minor mistakes and oversights, because as the homeowner I know exactly what I envisioned and they're juggling three or four jobs. When our pool was being built by Denali Pools, I felt like I had to project manage every step. Laguna was the polar opposite. The team was always happy, always polite, even waved when you saw them. Frank turned up after we'd finalized the designs and suggested an extra planter and a tweak to the paving stones, both better than what we'd planned. When something wasn't right, there was no defensiveness. It's a large project, we expect a few tweaks. For example, the wrong lights got installed along the pathway. I contacted Frank and it wasn't a debate, it was "we'll change them." Then he came back and told me the lights I described were different from the original plan, he checked that I actually wanted spotlights, and confirmed before ordering. He listened to what I'd asked for over the original plan. The communication was on point. Every question got answered, and his suggestions were consistently better than anything I'd anticipated. Little things too, like laying drop cloths after the pool work so nobody trailed dirt through the yard. That care shows in the output and along the way. Laguna also does regular yard maintenance, and after this experience we're moving all our ongoing landscaping to them. My one hesitation going in was cost. This isn't a cheap project and Laguna isn't a cheap company. However, they are worth every dollar. At our previous house we'd had a cheaper company build a retaining wall, and Laguna had to come fix it. The quality, the detail, the thinking outside the box, the double-checking before they order anything, it's incredible. Next level service, next level professionalism, next level care. I'd recommend them to anyone, always. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would give it to them.
