I first called Lane and he answered and talked to me for over an hour about how he was the right chose and he was local and could meet any time! After going back and forth way too many times, because he did not understand what it was trying to say in a text, I asked to meet to get it all resolved. He then informed me (after collection his deposit) that he does not meet with his clients only through text and email. I could type a 100-page book on how unprofessional and uncooperative he was, but I am going to just leave it at this, RUN from this guy!!! We were looking for a way to build a unique home, different than the more common styles built across north Texas today. We loved the Mid-Century Style of architecture but we also wanted to keep a rural Texas feel since we are living out in the country. Jonathan Bethune did an excellent job capturing the look and feel of the house as well as creating an incredible floor plan that makes excellent use of space. The building process proceeded timely and it was clear from the beginning that the quality of work was very important to the team. We experienced an excellent job of keeping the work going even during very wet days and weeks. The end product is a very well constructed home that we feel is efficient and beautiful. Jennifer Bethune really helped bring the interior style of the house. She was very available to choose wood, paint, countertops, tile and many of the other surface areas that really added to the beauty of the home. The overall experience has been incredibly engaging and exciting. Having such a unique home is very special to us and this design build team was a great choice for us.

Everyone told how stressful the process was to their marriages and all had horror stories about builders and architects. After exhausting all other avenues my husband and I, reluctantly decided to meet with Jonathan Bethune. To say we were skeptical would have been an understatement. During our initial meeting my husband immediately gave Jonathan Bethune our business. We both found Jonathan to be professional and he understood our vision and designed it even better than we had envisioned. The whole process was further streamlined and enjoyable when Jennifer entered into the picture. She made ever design decision easy by helping me narrowing my choices all while staying on budget (which endeared her to my husband). Keeping on a budget and knowing each week where we stood also helped reduce stress. If any questions did arise Jonathon and Jennifer were always available for questions and backed up with a professional staff.
