Had to dump 75 bags of yard waste. Prices were lower than Al Clawson (charged by bag), Williamson County (charged more per cuyd), or Waste Management, Inc. (charged more per cuyd and required 4-wheel drive). Staff was nice and helpful. read more

These people won't take my recycling because I didn't have twine around it. "Per city contract" they don't have to. I try to do the right thing by recycling and all they say is "there's no twine around it". read more

This is what happens when you hire Texas Disposal systems, they tell you trash pick up is Thursday, they don't show up so you call them and they say it was changed to Friday the driver has until 7pm, No one shows up then Saturday and Sunday go by and still no one has shown up it has been 11days and no one has shown up to pick up the trash. Save yourself a headache and do not hire this company they are unreliable and can not do the most basic of function for which you have paid them for. Just moved in and called ahead to schedule a bulk pickup. Moved my cardboard boxes and wooden pallet to the very END of my driveway/sidewalk as not to obstruct the sidewalk or come close to hitting the parked cars on the road nearby. The trash men refused to walk 2 extra steps onto the sidewalk claiming they didn't want to step on my property.. More like they are lazy and didn't want to do their jobs like the tax assessor's office for car registration. This is what happens in liberal areas, lazy. read more

Texas Disposal Systems did not pickup leaf/lawn bags this week as they have in the past. They now claim it is not part of their residential service and that we would have to pay $73 for each "bulk" pickup!!! I have been with Texas Disposal since Jan of 14. In the last month they have changed being very picky about picking up anything other than the cart. Today is recycling day. I had one extra box packed with boxes and 1 extra bag in a smaller can left. I called and per the service rep they only pick up the cart. Being very polite I explained they have always picked up extra boxes. I was then moved to the supervisor Christina. She said she could put a note on my account to clear everything for the next few weeks but would not start till Saturday. Now I am faced with hauling off my own trash as I do not want to leave trash in the street for a week. What is even more disappointing is I practically begged her to come on Tuesday when you can pay the extra $20 for bulk pick up and she said she did not have the authority to write off that charge. Would hope the company would empower their employees to help make things right. Now I am posting this review in multiple places in hopes they can see that they are not living up to the standard I have enjoyed from them for years. read more

Leaves trash everywhere almost once a month. And barely puts the trash cans back where they should be. Sometimes they leave it half way in the street. Also they never pick up an extra box left next to the trash can. I don't understand if you're getting great benefits and decent pay why you can't take the extra effort and couple seconds to properly do your job. Also when on the telephone with them they said they make a note of what address they should be more accommodating to. And that's just a horrible business to do that. Worst experience ever. I got a 5x8 trailer that was filled with 2 couches (one with no cushions), chopped up wood pieces, and 3 really old 4x4s. Took it out there thinking it was the $36 advertised for a trailer...wrong! They barely measured the load and then said $86. Really?! For two regular sized couches, chopped up wood pieces, and 3 really old 4x4s? The contents that were in a 5x8 trailer?! These were not extra charges. My stuff was tied down securely. These people just look at you and charge you what they think you can pay. When I contested the charges they laughed at me (literally). Prior to being given my quote for dumping garbage, the man behind the counter said "You know. It's getting more expensive to dump trash. We don't want everybody just throwing everything out." Really?! You want me to just keep my 2 couches that had been sitting in the yard...in my yard? David (the "manager") was called over and he said..."do you want to dump here or not." Avoid. Avoid. I went here after this bad ice storm to drop off some tree limbs that fell around my house. I had everything strapped down and was all secure. I showed up and the lady working went out to measure my trailer. She comes backs after that and says it will be 12 cubic yards but 3 for free since you are in the city limits so a total of 9 cubic yards and $56 I just thought that was very expensive and did not think my 6 by 16 foot long trailer could hold 12 cubic yards. Then when i got home I measured it myself and got about 3 cubic yards. So I got way over charged. And I don't know how you get 12 cubic yard and 3 cubic yards mixed up. All and all I would not recommend this place. read more

No idea about these other reviewer's experience, but certainly not what I had. Needed to dispose of an old mattress and the price was reasonable. It was pouring rain so I was already kinda annoyed of dumping a heavy worn out mattress by myself but one of the employees went out of his way to give me a hand. The front desk lady was cheerful and instructed me what to do. If I ever need to dispose of large items again I'll definitely come here. read more

We went there the other day to drop off some recycling boxes an hour and a half before closing and the old guy there was rude and dismissive.he said that he didn't have time but we could had done it ourselves.so tell why when we drove back buy he was standing outside talking to the truck that was behind us and the guy was outside breaking down boxes. read more

This group is in cahoots with the City of Georgetown for garbage disposal. I would try to avoid any area they service if at all possible. You can literally take a small plastic trash bag, put one item into it, tie it neatly and place it next to an already full garbage receptacle, and they will leave the extra bag. They are too lazy to pick up anything that does not fit into the receptacle and where they can use the mechanical arm on the truck. You can, of course, make separate arrangements ($$$) to have that extra bag picked up. Calling their customer service number is a complete waste of time, and they will do nothing but raise your blood pressure... read more
