I came here to get gas. No, I didn't get a slurpee.... Next time!!!! The inside of the convenience…read morestore is clean and organized. Clean gas pumps. The gentleman working was helpful. I'm sure he was wondering why I was taking pics. Duhhhh. For YELP, of course! Hahaa This QT is easy to get in and out of.

This is QuikTrip store #778 and it's located in northeast metro Atlanta near Johns Creek, Duluth,…read moreand Suwanee. While this QT has a Suwanee address and zip code (30024), it's actually located in Forsyth County (right on the southern edge), not Gwinnett. I stopped by this QT to fill up after playing golf at nearby St. Marlo Country Club which has a Duluth address and zip code (30097). This QT is west of St. Marlo. Suwanee is to the east of Duluth. Yeah - figure that one out. (St. Marlo, by the way, is also in Forsyth County, on its southern border.) This QT isn't close to any major metro Atlanta freeway or interstate. It's embedded in the burbs. It's situated on State Route 141, better known as Peachtree Parkway. However, Peachtree Parkway in Forsyth County, not Gwinnett. From QT, if you head south into Johns Creek and Peachtree Corners, Peachtree Parkway becomes Medlock Bridge Road and then it becomes Peachtree Parkway again. It later changes into Peachtree Industrial Boulevard until you hit the I-285 perimeter. Once you cross the perimeter into ITP (inside the perimeter), it's known as Peachtree Boulevard (Doraville/Chamblee area) and then finally, Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Again, figure that one out, but I digress. I realize this has nothing to do with QT, but who's going to read this far into a gas station review anyway? The convenience store storefront facade at this QT is unlike any I've seen before: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/quiktrip-suwanee-4?select=ZXVO78vrXUJVMPdKiucEpg. The design looks different and is unique from other QTs (at least, compared to the ones I've seen). I wonder why. The gas station has 20 pumps. When I filled up, these pumps were one of the older models with green text on the credit/debit card interface and old-school, orange, back-lit LCD displays for the gallons and prices. The pumps have definitely seen better days and it wouldn't surprise me if QT decides to replace them with newer models in the near future. QT continues to have among the most competitive gas prices in Georgia and the gas is Top Tier Detergent Gasoline. The stations are spacious, relatively clean, well-equipped, and easy to get in and out of. This location is no exception. I'm a fan.

This is Valero station #982…read more Before my review, this Valero had three-straight (recommended) one-star reviews on Yelp, from 2017 to 2019, giving this location a "perfect" one-star average rating. Wow. My experience wasn't that bad. This Valero is located at the corner of Medlock Bridge Rd (141) and Abbotts Bridge Rd (120), a busy suburban Atlanta intersection. I was a little surprised at how big this gas station was given the brand and location. It's got 16 pumps. During my visit, they appeared to be in decent shape. The pumping area, in general, seemed adequate with paper towels, waste bins, and windshield sponges/squeegees with washing fluid. The pump played an ad while I filled up. My receipt printed clearly. "Rise Up" was printed below the business name, presumably a nod to the Atlanta Falcons. Price-wise, for gas in the area, you can do better at Costco, Kroger, QuikTrip, and RaceTrac. Valero's prices trend higher and approach the more expensive places like BP, Exxon, and Shell. I didn't go inside the convenience store. It had a nondescript, low-key, unmarked storefront. Valero's website refers to this location as "FFP #982."

A very sketchy customer was in the shop at around 10:30 pm on Saturday. I walked out of the shop…read moreand tried calling the shop to see if the cashier is under duress or needs help. Turns out the number listed on yelp, Facebook, etc all don't work. What a horrible place for the cashier to be in when the business owner would not even care to provide a published phone number.

Generally speaking QTs are nice stations, but that is not the case with this particular location…read more I've patronized this location for the last time. I think they take for granted a very good location, convenient in-and-out experience on a very busy intersection which they profit from by default. I've noticed over the years it has slowly run down. On this (my last) trip I needed to use the restroom. Foul odor . . . used paper towels on the floor . . . dirty sink and toilet . . . and after washing your hands you turn to the paper towel dispenser to find it empty. By-the-way, did you know you can use paper toilet seat covers just like a paper towel to dry your hands? As I walked out thinking I would grab a quick cup of coffee, I think that is when the final decision was made. That area was just as unkempt and overall the feeling was not what I am used to in a QT. This station will give you that "side of an interstate on a long road trip" feel you get when you randomly stop at a gas station to fill up and get back on the road . . . if you know what I mean. Do yourself a favor and drive past this one to the next available station.

This is QuikTrip store #716. It's not located close to any interstate or major state highway, but…read morerather deep in the metro Atlanta suburbs of Alpharetta and Johns Creek in North Fulton County. Technically, it's on the western edge of Johns Creek, but, like many places in Johns Creek, has an Alpharetta address. You can find it strategically positioned at the busy intersection of State Bridge Rd (120) and Jones Bridge Rd. This is a smaller, older generation QT. The gas station has only 12 pumps and the way they are positioned is unique and unlike most other QTs. The pumps are positioned parallel to the convenience store. This means when you pull up to one of the pumps, your car will be parked in parallel to the storefront. This makes sense given the small lot size and how traffic flows on to and off of the property from both roads. It's quick and easy to pull in to and out of the filling area. Typical of the QT brand, this QT is relatively clean and well lit with gas pumps that are in good condition and gas prices that are among the lowest and most competitive in the Atlanta area. I'm a fan.
