Her support throughout my pregnancy was particularly helpful - I would walk in stressed out and sore and leave feeling light and comfortable in my skin. Physically, it truly helped me feel my best during a time of much change. I would say that care for pregnant and post-partum women is a passion for Tessa and you feel so well taken care of in her presence. She also supported my husband through our transition to becoming a family of three and the physical toll that can take on new dads. I would give Tessa 10 stars if I could. I've seen 5 or so really great massage therapists over 20 years, and Tessa is the best.Some massage therapists just kind of do their regular routine no matter where you ask them to focus. Not Tessa. She listens and is incredibly responsive. If you ask her to just focus on your neck and back, she does. She is able to fix things (ribs out of place) in one hour that chiropractors can't fix in 3 visits. When she's done, the clouds part and the birds sing again. She has amazing technical skills. She knows exactly what she is doing because she understands physiology. In her old practice in Kits, it could take weeks or months to see her, but now she's just moved, so get in now while you can! Tessa is an incredible RMT! I have seen Tessa for years and she has helped me maintain my overall health and wellbeing as well as recover from injuries when they've occurred (including a broken hand and injuries from a motor vehicle accident). I've also received abdominal massages from Tessa which have helped immensely with decreasing menstrual cramps and relaxing scar tissue from a cholecystectomy to prevent issues later in my life. Tessa has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the body and has a holistic approach in her practice, I always learn something from Tessa and feel relaxed and less tense after appointments.
