I have used Tessa for 3 years. There is no other service in the Kalamazoo area that is more consistently thorough, trustworthy, and professional. Her staff are genuinely honest and cheerful. They are always professional. They have found jewelry that I've lost. They are thoughtful around my kids and extra quiet if my baby is asleep. Because I have young children with allergies, I am often concerned about lingering perfumes and cigarette smells. Unlike other cleaning services in the area, I do not have to worry about this with Tessa's staff. They provide executive quality work. Pros: Consistent professional cleaning, friendly, flexible, trustworthy Cons: None Because of Tessa I have more time to spend with my family!! ***Highly Recommend*** read more

I've been using Tessa Cleaning for about 2 years, and I'm so happy with them. Their prices are a value, yet the quality of the staff, their work, customer service, and communication are remarkable. I love that they use green cleaning products and have been more than satisfied with how clean my home is. I recommend them to anyone looking for affordable company with outstanding service. read more

she never responded or showed up, after confirming the time and date. I wouldn't recommend. Save your time and book someone that is reliable and know how to communicate. read more

They came on time, were very thorough, professional and courteous. Very happy with their service.

Can't recommend enough. They were so kind and did such a great job. Had a wonderful experience and will be continuing to use them!

I've been using Tessa services for over a year. They are so good at cleaning. I only have good things to say about the cleaners.

We weren't fortunate enough to receive the same experience as everyone else who posted. We were given a checklist and told that they adhered to it every cleaning. This was not the case whatsoever. Never once did they live up to standards that they set themselves. I never asked for special attention to anything, I only expected them to follow through with what they told us they would do, and it just wasn't possible. I will say that Tessa was accommodating if we needed to switch dates for special occasions. I found that to be very helpful when we needed it. However, after giving it 6 months of cleanings we finally had to end the service. They damaged our walls several times with their vacuum hoses. After numerous complaints and explaining the need to avoid the walls to every single different group that cleaned, we had the walls repaired on our own dime. We were only offered a $30 off coupon for the mess up just to have them damaged again. Once again, the burden is on us to pay for the repairs. We never had any consistency with the cleanings, and it seemed we always had different people in the home. I understand it's not always possible to have the same people there, however it seemed as though there was always someone being trained in our house. The attention to detail is just not there and it always seemed rushed! Streaks on the mirrors, water spots all over the wood floor, nothing was moved to be cleaned under. Tessa was always available to talk to and responded quickly but what she promised was rarely delivered. We tried to schedule a walkthrough with Tessa but it just never was possible right after a cleaning to show her what was problematic. read more

Tessa was sweet and curious. She did a very wonderful job! Very efficient. I would absolutely hire her again.

As the 5 star rating says: 'As good as it gets!' I had them come out to do a one-time deep clean which left the house and appliances looking brand new. They were excellent in many regards: Ease of doing business - I was able to easily get in touch with them. No run-arounds or poor customer service like other companies. We were able to work around my atypical scheduling needs. Quality of cleaning - They didn't just do surface cleaning. They really got down into strange corners and crevices that weren't even obviously dirty. It's those small areas that make a big difference. Cost - *Very* competitive rates for their cleaning services. Personable - They were so friendly that it actually caught me a little off guard. Many people drag their feet throughout their day jobs like they can't wait to be done... but they were so upbeat and funny, yet such hard workers. At the end of the day, it really showed that they loved what they do. Overall, it seems like they are in the game to genuinely satisfy their customers. Everyone else seems to be shortcutting their way to their customers' wallets without caring about quality. read more

I have been using Tessas Cleaning Service for over 3 years. I would highly recommend this business. I have had 4 other cleaning services in the past 10 years and can say without hesitation Tessas is the best. She responds quickly to messages and has been amazing when i have needed to rearrange our schedule due to work or personal issues. I appreciate Tessa, her sister Tobi, and the ladies who work with them including Bri (and Bris lookalike who i actually thought was Bri for ages) and the hard work that they do to make my life easier. You will not regret having these lovely ladies in your home! read more

I've used Tessa's services for over a year. Prior to Tessa, I had multiple cleaning crews that did not meet my expectations. Right from the start the service provided a deep cleaning and has kept the house in great shape since. They communicate well when in the event of scheduling issues and are willing to accommodate my changes in schedules. I've recommend their cleaning services to two other families and both are very pleased with Tessa. read more

Look no more- you have found ***THE BEST** cleaning agency in the local area. Our home looks cleaner than it did when we moved in! These ladies came out to do a SECOND deep spring clean (we had them out last March and I am thrilled to have them back). They spent quite a bit of time making our home sparkle! They were so excellent we will have them back on a routine basis. They are very professional and proficient. Prices are very fair and competitive & their work is exceptional. read more

I found this cleaning service through ratings on yelp. I just purchased a home and started remodeling. We had just taken up carpet and found lots of pet hair (allergies!). I purchased a move in cleanup service. They responded immediately to my request for a quote and were able to accommodate my timeframe to come out for a walkthrough of the house. The person quoting was very professional and did an excellent job noting the specific areas I wanted worked on. The cleaning itself was thorough and really got the areas I highlighted in my walkthrough. After the cleaning was the first time I walked out of that house without sneezing! read more

I had surgery and couldn't pack or clean, but I needed to have my house cleaned and packed up before a move. I called them to explain the situation and they came right out and whipped my house into shape in no time for me. It wasn't too expensive and they were absolutely awesome! I highly recommend them! read more

Called Tessa based on Joe D's review. We were leaving a 3 month rental at the lake and needed to have the cottage cleaned from top to bottom. Tessa stopped by the week before to look over the job and quote me a price. She came dressed in a business suit and was very professional. She even removed her shoes as she did the walk-thru. On the designated day, she came with 2 employees. Lovely cheerful girls. Plus they came with their own cleaning supplies etc. Needless to say, they did a beautiful job in less than 2 hours. I'm so glad I found Tessa here on Yelp. I find Yelp to be an invaluable tool for just about everything. I would definitely have Tessa and crew back next year as I was very pleased. read more

Tessa and her cleaning team have been cleaning my home for greater than two years. I have found them to be professional, effective, and responsive to my particular cleaning requests. Tessa has worked tirelessly to manage my occasional scheduling flexibility requests. She communicates promptly if weather or holiday schedules affect our routine cleaning schedule on their end. The cleaning crew is delightful, thorough, and respectful. I trust Tessa, and highly recommend their services. read more

Tessa is a very nice surprise. She isn't the cheapest, but her initial courtesy and professional demeener won me over. Today, was their first visit, folks were on time, if not a little early and all the attention to detail spots that I catch folks on, were all caught the first time. If they continue or exceed this level of service, they'll earn another star. read more

Excellent Used Tessa for a whole house deep clean. Tessa comes ahead to look at what condition your house is in and gives a fair price with her knowledge of how much work it will take to get as clean as possible. A crew of 4 ascended on my house and got right to work top to bottom. My oven was really bad and my bathrooms were looking bad especially the toilets which that had hard water crusty buildup that I have been trying to remove with different chemicals and scrapers for years. My 8x11 area rug had a hump in it from furniture sitting on it so (the leader of the crew- sorry don't remember her name, she told me but with all the activity it passed over my head) decided to move all the furniture and straighten it out, just to make it right, which also enabled her to clean it even better. The whole crew gets down and dirty, toilets, tub/shower, oven, refrigerator, microwave, closet doors, baseboards and corners, blinds and inside windows. When they were done 7 hours later it was impressive. The toilets and oven look like new (can't believe they got the crusty hard water buildup off) Everything was done to the best that could be done. Very personable, professional and thorough. If it's cleanable, they can do it, and do it right. They don't cut corners. Bottom line, unlike other cleaning companies out there Tessa is dedicated to get your house as clean as possible and take pride in their work. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends who need a very professional reliable cleaning service. The crew was tired after working hard all day and Me being overwhelmed by all that was done ,I wasn't able to really look at it until the next day and appreciate all the hard work they did and how well it turned out. They take pride in their work and it shows. So if they read this review I would like to tell Tessa and the Crew "YOU DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB and "THANK YOU " read more

Tessa and her crew are fabulous. Called her because we had just moved in to our new condo and I was overwhelmed with the unpacking and sorting and organizing and cleaning. In desperation I looked for help. Just that day, someone came by with a flyer about her business. I really think she was an answer to prayer. They did a wonderful job; cleaning the house and then helped me with some organizing and sorting. I recommend them highly. They saved my sanity and my happy home as well. They now come on a regular basis and leave the house looking marvelous! read more
