I get to stop in at essential one to top off my travel mug and my thermos with some of the best coffee on the planet. They charge me the price of a large cup of coffee to fill my thermos. How can you go wrong with that? The restrooms are very clean as well. Easy to navigate the parking lot with a big truck. I can't tell you how they compare to any of the other service stations in Seward because I have not needed to try any of the others.

For our room, we needed wine and beer, and this place had a decent selection. If fact, we were here maybe 3 times during our recent Seward stay. Check-out is at a separate counter than paying for gas. That seemed strange, but then I don't know the nuances of Alaska liquor laws. And we were carded, which at our age is a compliment.
