This is an absolutely brilliant Tesco. It seems to stock absolutely everything! It has a great clothes section upstairs (great prices which are made even better with the regular sales they have), an electrical section (TVs, computers, mobiles etc.), home wares (plates, kitchen appliances, paint etc.) and loads of toys. They've also got a great card section, and an aisle which seems to be dedicated to seasonal specials. You can't help but pick up a few things that you didn't think you needed before you went in. There's also a pharmacy, photoshop and cafe in store. It's a big store, but once you know your way around, your weekly shop is easy. You soon get used to the extra choice, which you miss when you revert to a smaller store. The only down side is the parking. Tesco has drawn other retailers to the site, and at busy periods (like the run up to Christmas) it's impossible to park there. Thank goodness Tesco is open 24 hrs! read more

Another huge supermarket, with a vast car park and an even vaster range of products inside. The size of the store makes it impractical to pop in for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread. It seems permanetly busy and you need to have plenty of time to visit as it will take you ages to walk around the store. All in all this Tesco has a an excellent range of facilities and has the cheap prices you would associate with the name. read more

In principle this is a good store, but I think the trouble is that it's just too big. It always seem to be busy and it can get quite frustating to be stuck in constant trolley jams when you need to get from one end of the store to the other. They stock a lot more besides food, eg clothing, toys and bikes. It is worth a look, but perhaps try and go at a quiet time of day. read more

I live quite nearby to this Tesco Extra and shop there around twice a week. I must admit that once I had been there I didn't like shopping in other supermarkets. I find tesco prices very reasonable and the choice in this store is huge. I do not regularly go to the clothes department but sometimes they have some decent things for good prices. The store is well laid out, although I would like more space dedicated to frozen food. The instore bakery makes some lovely cakes and bread and I always look to see if theres anything reduced in the cooked chicken part. Unfortunately it is very busy in the store at most times and have removed the basket checkout to be replaced with another automated counter which can be annoying sometimes. read more
