Middle of the day or evening and not only is parking a little tough, but getting around inside can be a little slow and arduous...
The good news is that they have scan as you go, so checkout is quick and relatively painless. Make sure you take your own bags unless you want to have to pay for them.
They are well stocked, but the butcher and fishmonger sections are closed from the weekend through until Wednesday (I couldn't find anyone to ask them why), so keep that in mind if you need those departments. They still have fish and meat pre-packaged in the fridge section.
None of the staff here seem particularly happy in their job, and lots of them were just stood around chatting in the fresh produce aisles. read more
