This Sainsburys is big (although the entertainment section isn't as big as in some stores). They have a reasonable clothing range along with a fitting room and tonnes of seasonal goods. Their bakery and deli counters are also good along with their cafe which is reasonably priced. All staff are very helpful, always showing you where to find things although the lay out of the store is pretty self explanatory. Overall a good store - although be warned as it is in the centre of town the parking gets very very busy and the layout isn't the best.

Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

Between eating Waitrose food all day, from their cafe, to the bakery, to the sushi, and in between walking around John Lewis spending more money than you have. All in all - fantastic supermarket, with great quality food, at slightly higher than Sainsbury's/Tesco prices, but with superior service. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. I had visited several locations while in London and they are all laid out roughly the same, making it easy to find what you need. They are slightly cheaper than posh smaller markets, but it is a standard chain grocery store, so quality is a little less for meat, fruit, veggies, etc. There are quite a few around London and its outskirts, so never had an issue while visiting, which is great. All and all, I overall was quite happy with my visits.

This is an extremely convenient little store inside the London Paddington Station. I am a huge fan…read moreof the grab and go meal deals (only £3.85, less than the competitor next door or any fast food). I visited at 8am and the shelves were fully stocked. Having every option of meal deal sandwich available may have been a first for me, and they just released the limited edition holiday specialties yum yum yum! The US really needs to get onboard with this prepacked sandwich/wrap/sub/salad/pasta (that are relatively healthy) plus a snack and beverage for $5. It was very busy inside with what I imagine was mostly the regular weekday comminutors. There are many self-checkouts so the line went fast. Advice for visitors: like the vast majority of stores in the UK, make sure you bring your own bag or you will be charged for one.

There is a dedicated desk in the clothes and electrical area that can help you with any stock that isn't out on display. It has a large fruit and veg section as well as a bakery but the frozen food isle are not that big. Good place to do your weekly shop as you have a marks and Spencer next door and the petrol is always at a reasonable price compared to other stations. Staff are also helpful and friendly.
