A useful location pretty much is the only positive for Tesco Express on Pride Hill in Shrewsbury and the fact it has a satisfactory range of basic essentials.
There is so little room to move around the store, they seemed to have warehouse loading cages on corners and also due to the construction of the store, they had huge poles in the middle of an aisle which made it single-file only and difficult/awkward to stop, look at and pick up items on the shelf, obviously, buggies/pushchairs couldn't get down that aisle. I get they can't help the construction, but they could have found a way around it.
I hear this store also offers Collect+ parcel facilities which is super useful, and I've not noticed Tesco stores doing this before.
2* - Small yet uncomfortable location, would only come here if I had no other option, it's a shame Waitrose closed down the road which I much preferred. read more
