I get the parking but to go on the actual trail where there's hardly any wildflowers? Absolutely absurd. And they have multiple workers on the trail checking tickets. As of 4/27/24 there is a small patch of poppy's before you get to the 'wildflower trail' and then one here and there but not an abundance like you see on social media and definitely none you can take photos with, which I didn't care about. I wanted to take photos OF the flowers. There are a few others but they're scattered and very few. The most I saw was brittle bush and caterpillar phacellia. If you're looking for a place to take a walk, this was a good spot. There's no shade, a few tables around the trail if you want to take a break or have a picnic. And I'd highly suggest going to the restroom before you hit the trail because there's only porter potties and I wouldn't even step foot in em. Always remember to stay on the trail and keep the area clean! I picked up quite a few pieces of trash that had clear signs of animal bites. They're wild animals- keep them wild!

Says dinner cruise, dinner in the air, ATV quads along with the other things. We tried for a couple months to get Velma to send us the schedule of our tours. Once we received it I asked where the dinner in the air was. She said that was reservations only and didn't include dinner and if we wanted that we would have to pay $200 for that. No where does it say that. She refused to give it to us saying there was no more money to pay for that. And that she planned to have a private dinner party at the all inclusive resort she was staying at with most of the people going. We opted to stay at one of the other hotels since we didn't plan on hanging out at the resort eating and drinking all day. She said she was going to try and get us a day pass to come to the dinner at her resort. I went into her FB page she made for this trip and posted how disappointed we were in our experience with her. She proceeded to block me from that page and unfriended us and then said she wasn't able to get us that pass because the resort wanted to charge her $200 for each of us. Once again that $200 fee. And we went on our safari we didn't get the ATV rides that it shows because she didn't pay for that option and the driver wanted us to pay extra for it. He said Velma only paid for the cheaper package $36 per person. Originally when she said we weren't getting the dinner in the air she said we paid $400 less per person than the group staying at her resort. And I responded with that's because we aren't getting free food and drinks like that group. Not sure if she thought we were stupid and she could get away with things because we have never used a travel agent before because we like planning our own trips. She kept saying I'm sorry you're not happy what can I do to make you happy. I kept telling her to give us what we paid for but she wouldn't. She then said she would pay the extra if we wanted to switch our aquarium tickets to the Miracle Gardens. I told her it didn't open till mid October. But she said no that it was open. We didn't thank goodness since it wasn't open. Then about a week before the trip she tells me she had to cancel her reservations because her 90yr old mother was ill and she needed to take care of her but yet her sister went on the trip. But while in Dubai I saw that she had posted that she was at Carnival cruise terminal with from the name of the person possibly her mother. Guess she wasn't that sick. It was our first and last time using a travel agent. Not sure if we will take the time to pursue getting some of our money back from her or just move on. We will all have to discuss it and see what we want to do. I would give a negative star if I could!

There is never a time of day or night where you cannot call , text or email her and ask her any silly question you can come up with and this beautiful lady will answer the question you have about your trip and she will do it with a huge smile on her face. I can't even imagine having that kind of patience! At times when she is booking a carnival cruise she may be in charge of possibly 300 clients on that same ship and they're all asking questions and giving demands about what they need to have for their trip and Velma will take care of every single thing they are asking for and if she can't she will tell you why and she probably even will say how sorry she is that she can't accommodate them. She is and always will be my family's travel agent forever . Highly recommended!!
