I hired The Ternullo Real Estate Team via Upnest to sell my house. I worked primarily with John. He and his team worked efficiently to prepare me for the sale. Communication, respect, and trust were the key factors to making this a success. My house sold quickly and at a fair price. It was a pleasure working with The Ternullo Real Estate Team! We conducted a search of realtors and chose The Ternullo Team. They did what ever was needed through the whole process. For instance we came up with a list of fixes for the dated home. They gave us clarity of what things were important and which things were not necessary/efficient. They have an excellent electrician/carpenter who did his work quickly with excellent quality and very fair pricing (well below other bids). They helped us staging the home and removing items at well below prices we got from other vendors. They put the home on the market, had 3 showings, and we got 4 bids, one of which well exceeded our hopes - all in less than a week. They worked well with our lawyer and took care of the closing. I cannot imagine a better experience than we had with John and Michelle! read more

John and Michelle helped us sell our starter home and win a bidding war for our forever home. They are well connected, thoughtful, and know the industry inside and out. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

John and Michelle did an amazing job as the listing broker on my home. I found them here on Yelp. It's amazing to me that there are barely any other brokers reviewed here but there's a reason - these guys are fantastic. I met with John first, he toured the house. I had a special house in that I had done a lot of improvements to it that were not valued as highly as other brokers I interviewed, including Lillian Montalto, who is regarded as one of the top brokers in the area. John's presentation blew her away. Not only did they estimate that it would go for more than other brokers, but their logic was sound and and their approach seemed innovative and unique. So I went with them. Michelle was great as she came in a month ahead of time and gave me a list of staging things to fix. They advised not putting the house on the market until it was perfect. They helped get the staging done, with a very professional and efficient local group of people to get the house in perfect order. The online listing information they did was very well done, and they put together a virtual tour that was great. They do a great job of using technology to communicate with their listing system to manage appointments, and they know how to effectively communicate, call, text, etc. I would not assume this is the case for "old school" brokers... They put the house on the market and after one open house I had verbal interest and had negotiated a price about a month later; closed a month after that in a flawless, albeit not trivial process. I'm a super busy CEO of a software company and they watched over every detail right up to closing and they were always available very quickly to deal with issues. Honestly I can't speak highly enough about this team. Can't imagine a better real estate broker team. Don't hesitate to use them. They are truly a team, and they rock. read more

I could not be more pleased with the help John and Michelle gave my husband and I in the purchase of our first home. We found John through Yelp (He not only works for an amazing real estate company....but he's also a certified Realtor). Throughout the WHOLE process he always made sure that we understood what was going on. He did a wonderful job at showing us different houses with the qualities we were looking for. He used our feedback to fine tune our search which led us to finding our house within about 2- 3 weeks after we started looking. The paperwork part of the house buying 'should' have been stressful...but John and Michelle communicated so effectively that we sailed through the most difficult part of the process. My husband and I definitely recommend them. read more

As first-time home buyers in a competitive market, John and Michelle made the entire process easy and stress free. My fiance and I started our search mid March and were able to close in June, after finding the perfect home! From the first informative Zoom call, outlining the entire process of buying a home, to the closing date, it was a pleasure working with such a professional and knowledgeable team. We appreciate how helpful John was when it came to discussing offer strategies, and his advice and attention to detail during showings was awesome (especially for newbies like us)! We also loved how Michelle had a great eye for making the house into a home. We are impressed with how dedicated the team is towards their clients, answering questions and scheduling showing with only a day's notice. We were in great hands and found a home that checked all our boxes and within budget! read more

John and Michelle are an AMAZING team!!! We mainly worked with John though. We had so many doubts and uncertainties and John stood by and helped us through the entire process. We started working with John in November 2016, by January 2016 we were already owners of our new apartment!!! John was there with us, literally holding our hand through the whole process! When our baby was too small and we had a difficulty going to his office, he came to our house! When we had ANY questions ANY time of the day ANY day, he was aways available!!! I cannot thank John and Michelle enough!!! I can say with 100% certainty we would have never been able to buy an apartment that quickly if it wasn't for John! He gets things done!!!! If you are looking for the best realtor, stop looking, you have found one. I am looking forward to working with John again in the near future! read more

My fiance and I are so happy we found John and Michelle. We worked with John in the beginning and Michelle later on, but both of them were great to work with. John at first was very knowledgeable and despite me and my fiance's rather disjointed perspective/opinion on what we wanted, John was patient and very much listened (especially early on) rather than expressed a lot of opinions. Only when he really understood what we wanted (I think a little faster then we did!), he then provide his very valuable input. For that, we really appreciated it. We not only got a beautiful home, but a good deal in a great neighborhood and town. Both Michelle and John were always available to talk and provide not only information and answer questions on a moment's notice, but also supported us throughout the process. They have very good contacts in the field and all referrals were very solid. Being in the finance industry for nearly 20 years, we need more teams like this! Thanks Michelle and John! We'll be seeing you soon (I do have my other house to sell!) read more

I would highly recommend the Ternullo's and Remax Heritage. They are realtors that love what they do and it shows. They gave us valuable advice, helpful insight, negotiated effectively for me. They were very trustworthy and always responsive. Thank you very much John and Michelle! read more

The Ternullo Team (Michelle and John) were amazing in helping us through our first home buying experience. They were always available via phone, text and email to answer questions and help us out promptly- no matter the day of week or time of day. They walked us through every step of the process. When our first signed deal fell through they worked overtime to negotiate and get it back on track- even though it would have been easier to walk away from the house, and even though it meant they had to put in many more hours talking to the sellers and very stressed out buyers (us :) ). They consistently went above and beyond- at our closing even the seller's real estate agent mentioned how great John and Michelle were to work with. Unlike some other real estate agents I have met, John and Michelle are just nice, honest people who work hard for you, and are on your side! Buying a home is stressful, and it was amazing to have a team that we could trust and we knew were there for us. We hit the jackpot when we hired them, and I am so grateful for all their hard work. Thanks! read more

John and Michelle are an amazing team. They helped us buy our perfect home. They learned about what we wanted and helped us find it! I found out about them via Yelp, and I'm so glad I did. We worked primarily with John, but everyone at Ternullo is wonderful and SUPER communicative. John worked seamlessly with me and my wife despite the fact that we were moving across the country (from San Francisco to the Boston Area) and had never purchased a home before. He walked through the whole process, guided us through the process of viewing homes via proxy, learning what we like and what we don't, and how to make a compelling offer. While the market was crazy and it took a few offers, John was the perfect teammate to encourage us! Third time was a charm. We just closed on a home we *love* and couldn't be happier. John is extremely communicative, helpful and takes the time to learn your priorities. If you're in the market to buy a home, John, Michelle and everyone at Ternullo Real Estate are phenomenal. Highly, highly recommend them. read more

John and Michelle have been fantastic advocates for us. As first time homeowners, we were a bit worried, anxious, and unsure about, well, just about everything. John spent countless hours explaining the ins-and-outs of legal documents, the home purchasing process, and mortgages. Every person to whom he referred us for other services (lawyer, mortgage) were helpful and outstanding in their own right as well, further confirming their status as outstanding agents. We met John at an open house, and what struck us was his honesty for the process and for our own home search, not for selling us on a home that might not have been right for us (but would have been a sale for him). What we have appreciated and respected most in working with the Ternullos is their honestly and straightforwardness, even though it means spending more time, going to more homes, and keeping us honest with our own standards and hopes for a home. We've been in our new home for a month now, and we are so darn happy, and have the Ternullos to thank for their hard work and commitment to our search and for helping us through a pretty intimidating process. read more

We truly lucked out when we first contacted John through a link on a Trulia posting. John stuck by us, offering key advice and insight, as we bought our first home in Medford, MA this past June. John's flexibility, his ability to meet me at work or near my house, and willingness to communicate via text made working with him so easy. read more

Working with John and Michelle Ternullo was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home! My wife and I met John at an open house where we had a brief discussion about what we were looking for and where. John followed up with us and on the first day out he showed us the house that would become our first home. He was on the same page the entire process and really helped match what we were looking for with what would work for us! Even after finding our home, John and Michelle never stopped working for us. They recommended contacts for our mortgage, inspector, and lawyer and every one was right on. We had such a positive experience from our meetings with John and Michelle to working with their recommended team. They were in constant contact and making sure we were getting the support we needed throughout the process which helped ease the stress that can come with such a huge decision. We feel so lucky to have found John and Michelle and there is no question that we will go back when we are ready for our next home! If you are considering purchasing a home, I would highly recommend the Ternullo's for your search. Nick and Stacy read more

We are so glad to have found John and Michelle Ternullo during our home search. I met John at one of his Open Houses and he made a great first impression with me. I got in contact with him that week and after looking at a few houses, we knew that the Ternullo Team was the right choice. Unlike some of our previous realtors, John and Michelle were quick to listen and understand our likes and dislikes. This really helped to reduce the stress that can come from house searching. Our journey to find our new home definitely touched on just about every area of expertise a realtor must have. From continuous searching, bidding wars, and a closing, they helped us through every step and gave us the feeling that they were always looking out for our best interest. Our situation was far from the norm as a tree fell on our new home a week before we were scheduled to close and a month before our new baby was due. There was extensive damage to the house which involved 5 months of rebuild and lots of meetings. They did a great job speaking on our behalf and/or coordinating with the 3 parties involved in the rebuild. With the house technically not being ours yet, there were lots of discussions that had to go through multiple parties (buyers, sellers, contractors, lawyers, insurance) to come to rebuild agreements. John stepped in when needed and was always there to bounce ideas off of when we had decisions to make. We were very anxious to get the situation behind us with the new baby's arrival and he was always up front and gave us realistic outlooks on what we were going to be dealing with. In the end almost a year had passed from the time we met John and Michelle to closing on our home. Having not known what we were in for with the new house search, I couldn't have been happier that I went to that Open House where we met them. We will continue to use them in the future and will always refer them to any friends and family that are buying or selling. read more

I found John and Michelle through Yelp and I really can't say enough about how great they are to work with. From our first meeting through the entire process they were incredibly professional, on top of every detail, and made my wife and I feel like they cared as much about the purchase of our home as we did. I thought their approach at the beginning of the process was excellent as they took the time to thoroughly learn about our wants and needs and then were able to discuss how that fit into the current market trends and area we were looking in. During the process of finding a home, their approach was great as they quickly notified us of properties coming onto the market that were in our criteria but never pressured us to look at something that was obviously not a fit. When the ideal home finally came on the market, their move to action and level of urgency mirrored what we were feeling which was fantastic. And during the closing process, they were always in touch and always available to us or anyone we were working with. I heard nothing but great things from our mortgage broker, who is a close family friend of ours. I would say that working with John and Michelle felt like having a team of expert consultants working with us as opposed to a salesman or broker. They always did all the little things that let us feel good about the fact that they were on top of things for us. When making the biggest purchase of our life thus far, it was great to work with someone who wasn't trying to "sell" us as house but really cared about helping us find and purchase the right house for our family. All in all, I really can't speak highly enough of working with John and Michelle. From our first meeting to us moving into our home, the Ternullo's handled every detail of the process with us perfectly. If you're reading Yelp reviews looking for a realtor, read no further. You will not find anyone better. read more

John and Michelle are a great team to have working for you. I recently sold my home and they were my real estate team. They handled every part of the process from start to finish. I had a tough work schedule to take time off and they were at the house for every appointment from showings all the way through the final walk through. They never asked if I needed them to be available to be at the house, they just understood my schedule restrictions and provided great service the entire time. It was very refreshing to have professionals take such great care of their client. I hire people because they are experts in their fields and can provide a service to others. Michelle and John were very well prepared every step of the way. I took their advice from staging the home, how to price it and all the way to how the listing should be worded. The home sold quickly and at a price that exceeded my expectations. The service model they follow allows you, the seller, to benefit from both their strengths and it shows. They work very well together each bringing excitement and enthusiasm to each part of the process. They do a wonderful job working with your schedule and are always available. They are both responsive through all forms of media, text, email, phone calls so whatever your preferred method of communication is they're ready to work with you. This team of John and Michelle will make you feel as if you're their only client. Regardless of your knowledge of the real estate market they will work with you to educate you of the process and feel comfortable every step of the way. They care about each client and it shows in their dealings with you each time you communicate with them. Listen to what they have to say and work to accomplish all of their recommendations and you will be rewarded with a great experience. With that, I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to sell their home and hope you reach out to contact them in order to have a great experience selling your home. read more

John, Michelle, and the rest of the Ternullo Real Estate Team are great. We have used them three times now, twice as buyers and once as sellers, and they have done a great job on both sides of the table. When buying, they were always on top of the newest listings and helping us to set up showings. When selling, they helped us put together a staging plan and have the property professionally photographed, which went a long way towards getting the most for our sale. I would definitely recommend the Ternullo Real Estate Team for any of your real estate needs! read more

John and Michelle were great! We were hesitant at first, and after our first conversation with John, it was evident that they were the right choice. They answered all of our questions promptly and gave us all of the information we needed. They allowed us the freedom to explore on our own and didn't push us in one direction or another but gave us enough information to make our decisions. It was also great to have two agents representing us as one team - and the communication skills were impressive. Once we found the right home for us, they quickly walked through the process with us and we were able to move forward with little issue. They were extremely quick with getting us the paperwork and checking in to make sure all of our steps were covered. When we arrived at closing, everything was in it's place and it was a seamless process. The Ternullo team was fantastic! read more

We sold our house and bought a new home with John and Michelle last month. We felt they were, start-to-finish, EXCELLENT. They are clear communicators and extremely efficient. They were extremely ethical in a business that is, frankly, populated by a lot of people who tell you what you want to hear in order to gain you as a client. Michelle helped me stage our house, making suggestions that were easy updates/fixes that truly improved the look of our home. The Ternullos were extremely quick to respond to our questions at all times of the day and happily took us around to a number of homes (and patiently waited as my "persnickety" husband examined each nook and cranny). They were extremely organized and kept us organized as well. EVERYTHING was in order, which made us feel very calm :) the overarching theme? The Ternullos were true professionals, start to finish. They sold our home in four days and guided us through making hard decisions about purchasing our new home. They helped us find people to paint and do floors in our new home and were a pleasure to work with in every facet of the buying and selling process. I would unequivocally recommend them to everyone. They are truly wonderful people and are FABULOUS agents! read more
