After years of going here I am sad to say I won't be going back, today I went in to look around…read morewith my partner and while we were there there was a small accident where my partner turned and a item which had been placed at the edge of the shelf partially off the shelf fell and broke. A young lady was kind to us and said we didn't need to worry about it (apparently she only ment the clean up). Later when we finished looking my partner went to buy his items from the register. At that point he was presented with a brown paper bag full of broken glass and was informed he had to pay 32$ for trash. I would normally have just paid and moved on however this does not sit well with me. You don't tell someone they are fine after they tell you an item broke because it was poorly placed by YOUR STAFF on a ledge near a walk way and then tell them they are responsible at checkout. Do better, be clear and don't misrepresent yourself. This place is no longer on my list of recommendation for-my friends or family . Update For the owners. If you wish to reach me to fix this your husband has my number as the ladies in the front gave me your card. However he made it clear there was nothing besides a 10% discount he was willing to do as your policy is you break it you bought it. There are no signs however which say that in your establishment and we were given a false since of security by your employees, there was also no indication he was willing to understand our side when speaking to us and he even included that "Honest People" would just pay for what they broke. Honestly I would not have had an issue if we had broke the item due to our own negligence, but as stated above we did not. Your item was paid for and the trash was left with your staff to be disposed of. Thank you for the reply. May others be warned to look before even turning in your establishment as it could be a costly mistake.
