Teri does a phenomenal job on my hair, I absolutely love her work!!! My husband's company contracted a job in Santa Clarita that is supposed to take about 2 months, we currently live in Lake Elsinore, so a round trip could take up to 4-5 hours. It took me 2 hours to get here yesterday as his company puts the crew up in a hotel for the week. I tag along and got extremely lucky when I came across Teri, by chance, and fell in love lol. Yesterday was my 2nd time in Teri's Studio, and I already know there will be many, many more trips to have her perform her magic! She makes you feel welcome and it's like we've known each other for years. Extremely clean and professional studio. She plays great music too. Yesterday we wound up watching Netfix, a funny show, made time pass by (too fast) as a 2 hour cut & highlight seemed like 10 minutes. My hair feels amazingly soft and looks great! Teri uses the best products that smell amazing! On my first trip she sold me a bottle of spray that she had imported from Isreal. It cost about $28 but worth every penny! I still have 1/2 a bottle and I plan on buying more my next visit, without fail! My husband's job ends this week so there will be no reason for us to come to Santa Clarita. I don't care, I would drive 6 hours to come sit in Teri's chair... I will definitely be coming back in about 3 months for "upkeep" lol. I highly recommend Teri, and promise...YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Thanks, Teri!!! read more

Teri was very sweet, but she did not match the reference photos I showed at all. She kind of went for her own artistic vision instead of committing to what had asked for. I appreciate her creativity, but I did not like what I walked out with. read more

I found Teri 's Studio on Yelp and decided to send her a message. She responded promptly and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Her studio is located inside Salon Republic in Valencia. Ample parking and super easy to find. Because of Covid there are a couple instructions that we clients have to follow. Example we cannot just enter the salon, we have to text our stylist to allow us entry. Which is ok with me to protect the health and safety of everyone. Teri is super nice and very easy to talk to. When I met her and started talking to her it felt like I've known her forever. I came in for a cut. Teri first looked at my hair and examined it first. Asked what I wanted done then proceeded to wash my hair. During my cut she continuously asked questions about my hair. Which I liked. I felt like she was really trying to get to know my hair. What I love is her philosophy in styling, she said that it's teamwork... how we (client and stylist) have to work together to achieve our goal with the client's hair **high five** I loved my cut. I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Teri is such a hidden gem. Before I left I booked an appointment for color. I'm super excited and looking forward to my next appointment. Cheers!! read more

With a heavy heart, for all of the short loving hair ladies out there, I must leave this review. Salon owner is a nice lady but after showing her a picture of a former haircut and insisting that she not cut off my longer, fringed sides, I left 2 hours later with my side fringes cut off and completely uneven. The products she does use smell nice like vanilla but if you have short hair this may not be the place for you. read more

7/15/17 So I decided to update my review since my hair has changed so drastically since my bangs, and I'm loving my hair more and more everyday. We started with a tiny bit of color, to cutting it, then making it lighter. I love teri and recommend her to all my friends because I love her and how she cares so much for my hair. I'll never go to anyone else because no one does my hair and has the same vision as me with my hair than teri. She's my hair mama, and I LOVE her read more

I've been a client of Teri's for years. Not only does she do my hair but my son and daughter are clients as well as my extended family. Teri is a master at coloring. My hair is tricky and getting my grays covered is difficult. She listens to your input and will not only suggest, but explain why she is choosing certain tones and shades. I've never left disappointed with my color or cut. Teri did my daughters hair for prom and it looked beautiful for the entire event. Another thing I love is the location where Teri is. Very private setting. None of the big salon distractions. One on one with a professional like Teri can't be beat. read more

Teri is amazing!! She's so talented and really takes the time to listen to what you want and work with your particular hair. Not only is she personable, she's very detailed and organized and always waiting for you to walk in- like you are her only client that day! Her studio is really clean and professional and she doesn't push any products on you- only if you ask! I've been coming to see her for almost two years and won't go anywhere else. P.S. to the moms- if you have a to drag a kid with you- she is great with them too!! Her studio can be closed off so the little ones don't escape! read more

How many stylists do you know call you to come back and redo your hair because THEY weren't completely satisfied with your color and thought you'd look better with a different color!!?? Well Teri did! And she was absolutely right! The color she thought would look better totally did! If you want someone who takes their time, is a color master, and is a perfectionist, This is where you need to be. Thanks Teri! read more

I really like the intimate environment in the studio, in contrast to a loud hair salon. Watched awesome music videos while I got my hair worked on. I'm a 20 y.o. guy, and Teri always keeps my hair very fresh and on point. Great with fades and fresh hair cuts for people of all ages! I won't go anywhere else! read more

Love going to see Teri for all my hair care needs! Whether I'm coming in for a touch up (she will always squeeze me in) or looking for top notch hair products, I always leave feeling like a million bucks! My hair responds well to Kevin Murphy hair care products and her studio has everything I need. I'm personally a huge fan of the Shimmer Shine spray. Since you can't buy Kevin Murphy at the local beauty supply store, I'll always pop in for the good stuff :). read more

I have been getting my hair cut only by Teri for the past nine years, and that is the way it will stay for a long time in the future. Teri has always taken care of me no matter what style, color, etc. I wanted. I have never left unhappy with how I look. Even when I go away to school, I always make sure to come back often to make sure that my hair is always how I like it. At this point, I don't even give her instructions anymore; I know that she knows my hair better than I do. I cannot recommend Teri more to any guy or girl of any age. She is honestly just the best! read more

My wife met Teri for the first time in May 2004. She did such a great job of updating her look, I decided to go see her as well. Since that time, we've never let anyone touch a single hair on our heads except Teri. Show her a picture or give her an idea of what you'd like, and she'll make it happen. She is truly a master of her trade. Besides being warm and witty and a joy to be with, we love her single-chair salon. This personalized and private setting is the absolute best! As long as we have hair on our heads... Teri and her place... will always be our place. read more

I've been going to Teri now for about a year. If you want your hair done the way YOU like it and want to be steered in the right direction towards healthy, movable hair, then you need to go to Teri. She is the absolute best stylist I've been too and I'm extremely picky about my hair. She carries affordable products and helps you learn how to care for your hair, not just get your hair done. Thank you Teri for making me feel beautiful!! read more

Teri is such a PRO! I got a haircut from her twice but today I went in for both color and cut and I LOVE.. LOVE my hair. I showed her the picture of the hair color I want and she not only achieved the color, she also gave me a soft healthy - shiny hair and a perfect haircut. She always spends time and pays attention to details that I haven't seen in a hair stylist for a long time. I've been to many hair salons in SCV and LA and I am so...happy that I finally found Teri because I won't be going anywhere else. She is truly amazing and excellent listener. After moving to the area and many mishaps... I am grateful to have found Teri. She is an expert in color and cut and a wonderful person.

Extremely prompt & friendly. Been getting my hair done by Teri for years and now take my teenage daughter. We're both incredibly picky and have never been happier. My daughter has extremely thick, long hair, which is difficult to work with, but Teri made it seem like no big deal. My daughter finally has a manageable hair style. I'd recommend Teri to anybody who values quality over a 10 minute speed cutting service. read more

I have been going to Teri for my cut and color for over 10 years now. No matter what I decide to do with my hair, Teri always does a great job. Normally I get an all-over color and highlights but a couple weeks ago I decided to try something new and do an ombre look. I have never done this before, but I've seen it on other girls and it looks so great that I wanted to give it a try. The results were AWESOME! My hair looked even better than I could have expected and I have gotten so many compliments on it! Every morning when I get ready I fall in love with all over again. It's such a relief knowing that no matter what I decide to do, I will always get great results from Teri. If you are looking for someone who has some serious color skills, than look no further! read more

Teri has been doing my hair for over 6 years now. When I first starting going she made my super fake blonde hair look natural and soft and now I always trust her opinion to give me natural and soft tones of what ever color I want next. She always has amazing colors to experience with (next I'm trying a rose gold color!) I have literally got my whole family going to her and we all love her! The best part is her private studio and you feel like a celebrity having it all to yourself . I'm counting down the days until I get to come back and get a new Fall look. :) read more
