Great first stop when you're in Todos Santos! Excellent service and hospitality from every staff member, and remember to always choose to sit outside under the umbrellas or on the side of the restaurant that leads to more shops. If you get warm easily, bring a mini fan, but it beats being inside. The views and the people watching and the vibe outside is absolutely perfect. The margs are strong but an essential part of your trip, as well. The guac and the chile relleno are my absolute favorites, here. Right across from Hotel California, and within walking distance to nearby shops, pharmacies, and more! read more

Ambience is absolutely incredible. It's a great little restaurant with five star interior Mexican food. Their margaritas are second to none and the shrimp stuffed chile Riano is to die for. I had I had to fish the day and grilled shrimp and it was the best I had fishing day for me was mahi-mahi and it was done to perfection. If you take the excursion out of Cabo San Lucas to Todo Santos, this is the place to have lunch! read more

I live in an area where we have GREAT margaritas. This one was not good. We had a group of 4 and thought it was pretty bad. $15 US.

Stay away unless you are a foreigner. Not authentic. Service is horrible. They discriminate against locals.

One of the best margaritas I've ever had. We were told it's an award winner and it's an Oscar winner in my book. The food is excellent and every bite is better than the last. I was recommending this place to everyone that walked by. Foodies, this place is a MUST have. read more

My wife went here in a tour. The restaurant only takes cash. My wife had fish tacos and I had Shrimp Chile Reino. Both were outstanding. The service was excellent, the portions were large and they gave us a Flan desert. We got chips with salsa as well. Great food, and if we are ever down here again, I would love to come back. The Margaritas were incredible as well. read more

Excellent chili rellano's. My husband had the shrimp and cheese stuffed one and I had the chicken and cheese one. I had a drink that was like a Tom Collin's, but they added mint, some lime and crushed and regular ice. The best Tom Collin's version I have ever drank. We finished our meal with a chocolate cake flan drizzled with Kahula. This was our third time to Todos Santos and eating at this restaurant. Excellent service too. They provide a natural means at your table to ward off fly's and mosquitoes. read more

Just go here. You will have a good time. You will have amazing drinks or maybe just one because they're strong. The owner is a character. He was welcoming and funny. Our kids had their version of an Arnold Palmer with iced tea and frozen lemonade with mint blended in. They loved it. My mango margarita was the best I had all week. And the damiana margarita was enjoyed by the rest of our group. read more

Most AMAZING mango margarita I've ever had! The food was fabulous! I had the grilled fish tacos and they were so fresh! The chips, the queso fundido and the tortillas were amazing! Our experience from the moment we walked in to the end of our meal the service was spectacular! read more

Do not go there! Terrible.. It's a shame it also only caters to foreigners to bait and switch pricing. Beware.

The food and drinks were very good. The service was attentive, until we questioned the bill. They are cash only and did not honor the current exchange rate. So I suggest bringing pesos. I had to pay a $7 fee at the ATM but they were up charging us $40 American. Very cute town, cute place, great food. They assured me that was they were giving us the best rate they could, I'm not inclined to assign malice and I would go again but just bring pesos to begin with! read more

Amazing Margaritas. You really must try them all. Its family owned and they take great pride in their award winning drinks. The food is also very fresh and so tasty as well. We've come by the last 2 summers, and look forward to visiting again 2 weeks! Come with cash, and bring a buck to sign and put on the wall! read more

Place was awesome! We went to and from Cabo to la Paz it was so good! Juan greeted us in both times and made us feel at home! We tried many of the drinks, all were great! The highlight was the chili rellano's with shrimp plate and the guacamole and salsa plate! That was the main reason we wanted to go back and skipped breakfast to wait until we got there to have it again! My wife loved the Damion Margarita and I ordered about 6 different drinks and they all were great! This was my wife's favorite place out of cabo and la paz to eat! read more

This restaurant has the trifecta of fresh wholesome food, nurturing customer service and unforgettable ambiance. The Hotel California is RIGHT across the street from Tequila's Sunrise and both are in the heart of the charming city of Todos Santos. We ate outside in a breezeway decorated with local art and bustling shops just yards away. Our server was extremely friendly and eager to suggest popular menu items. He was very accommodating to my dietary preferences and willing to answer any questions. I got the vegetarian fajitas and they were to die for. The medley of sautéed veggies were full of spices and the tomato especially was so tender and secreted warm juice into my mouth until my eyes watered. We had a cute little basket full of freshly pressed flour and corn tortillas and it was enjoyable to make small tacos with the vegetables, rice and salsa from the chip tray. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had! The avocados were riper than a brown banana and when mixed with the pico de gallo, salsa verde and salsa it was fireworks in my mouth!!! We were also brought complimentary garlic rosemary bread and there are not enough words in my vocabulary to expressed how tender, flavorful and delectable that bread was. ¡¡¡QUE RICO!!! Then we were brought a complementary chocolate flan cake!!! Honestly I am not a fan of flan, but I tried it and the chocolate portion on the bottom and glaze made it pretty darn good. This restaurant is phenomenal and all of the food is fresh and from local farms in the area. You can taste the quality in the food and all of the seasonings were spectacular. If I am ever back in todos santos I will be back for more! read more

Excellent service. Delicious food that is very authentic. NOT a tourist trap. One of the best meals we have had in all of Baja. Must try!

Conveniently located across the street from Hotel California with patio seating. We were promptly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant. He recommended his most popular margarita and was very friendly and classy. The margarita was really good! Not too sweet, but not too tart, and very refreshing. Our waiter was equally kind and polished as well. He even came out with ice to refresh our drinks half way through! If we go back to Cabo, we will definitely take the time to go back to Tequila Sunrise and enjoy more of what they have to offer. read more

We took a tour to Todos Santos and had some free time to roam around and decided to get a bite to eat at this place. Although this bar and grill was very touristy and the reviews weren't that great, we didn't have too many choices that were nearby. We shared a ceviche, had some of the complimentary chips and salsa, and my friend also ordered the Margartia Damiana. The food was okay and the margarita was sooooo strong! This herbal-based liquor is popular in Los Cabos and is supposed to make you fertile! You can also purchase a bottle if you'd like. They have a whole wall of liquor for sale. Before we left, we put a dollar bill on the wall to make our mark. Make sure you have enough cash to eat here since they don't accept any other form of payment. Luckily we had enough! read more

2 stars for margaritas But everything else was just ok Service was sloooww They sat us outside when we just wanted to have drinks. When our drinks were almost done they said we can only be outside if we order lunch So we agreed to order chips and salsa and they brought 2 very big trays of chips and salsa. There are better places here. Don't waste your time and money. Margaritas are super expensive read more

Tequila's Sunrise shrimp tacos and shrimp chiles rellenos garner a well-deserved reputation that extends far beyond Todo Santos. We experienced both and were blown away. We were equally impressed with the personable and attentive 4-generation family service and reasonable pricing. I should also note that my wife's Margarita was one of the tastiest, strongest she had ever consumed, yet it surprisingly did not produce any hangover. This cash-only operation sits opposite the Hotel California (not the song-inspiring one) and is a must-visit! read more

Very touristy. Tasty enough. Everyone was friendly. It's one of those places where a million people have signed the wall with a sharpie and margaritas are served in enormous goblets. It's set up for English speakers. The menu is bilingual. The staff speaks English. You can pay in pesos or dollars. Basically it's a pleasant, but totally manufactured tourist experience. Of interest to some will be the Damiana margarita. Damiana is purportedly an aphrodisiac and the waitstaff goes out of their way to ham this factoid up for the tourists. We went as a family (with two kids) and the waitress asked if we were there to eat or just have drinks (and my husband and I spent the rest of the day laughing about the idea that we were going drinking with our kids !?) We ordered a combo platter to share and chips and salsa and guacamole. I also had the damiana margarita. It was tasty. I can't say that it worked as an aphrodisiac, but I'm sure it didn't hurt. The staff gave us a free piece of cake at the end of our meal, which was kind. read more

My parents recommendation so I was a little unsure if the story was exaggerated...it wasn't! They signed their name on the wall 10 years ago and it's still here. Margarita has damiana in it..takes the edge off! Don't leave without trying the shrimp Chile relleno. Then finish it off with a chocolate flan ?!!! Amazing! Mom couldn't finish hers...they fully replated the to go box. Wow. Fun atmosphere Great service GO read more

Let's start with the margaritas- you cannot come this far and not have their signature Damiana margarita - it would be a waste of your trip. I couldn't wait to return to this bar after more than 10 years. Look, we walked in smiling. I was excited because we took pictures here years ago, left a dollar with our name on it for the wall. It was a disappointment. We were sat outside with all the flies because all the tables were reserved. It seems the nice tables were reserved for the tour buses. The staff was standoffish, I don't know what else to say other than I was completely disappointed. read more

No longer impressed with this place. They have lost their family atmosphere, prices keep going up, and they don't care. The tourist come and will pay the price because they're on vacation, so why would they. Use to enjoy the food and Margaritas. But I refuse to keep getting gouged every time we go here.
