    Fish tacos.

My wife went here in a tour. The restaurant only takes cash. My wife had fish tacos and I had Shrimp Chile Reino. Both were outstanding. The service was excellent, the portions were large and they gave us a Flan desert. We got chips with salsa as well. Great food, and if we are ever down here again, I would love to come back. The Margaritas were incredible as well.

    Flan over chocolate cake. OMG.

I've been here a few times, and honestly can say from the amazing service, warm welcoming staff, and insanely good food I am a a huge fan. Organic, fresh, simply outstanding.

Just go here. You will have a good time. You will have amazing drinks or maybe just one because they're strong. The owner is a character. He was welcoming and funny. Our kids had their version of an Arnold Palmer with iced tea and frozen lemonade with mint blended in. They loved it. My mango margarita was the best I had all week. And the damiana margarita was enjoyed by the rest of our group.

Place was awesome! We went to and from Cabo to la Paz it was so good! Juan greeted us in both times and made us feel at home! We tried many of the drinks, all were great! The highlight was the chili rellano's with shrimp plate and the guacamole and salsa plate! That was the main reason we wanted to go back and skipped breakfast to wait until we got there to have it again! My wife loved the Damion Margarita and I ordered about 6 different drinks and they all were great! This was my wife's favorite place out of cabo and la paz to eat!

    Best Margarita Ever!

Conveniently located across the street from Hotel California with patio seating. We were promptly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant. He recommended his most popular margarita and was very friendly and classy. The margarita was really good! Not too sweet, but not too tart, and very refreshing. Our waiter was equally kind and polished as well. He even came out with ice to refresh our drinks half way through! If we go back to Cabo, we will definitely take the time to go back to Tequila Sunrise and enjoy more of what they have to offer.

This restaurant has the trifecta of fresh wholesome food, nurturing customer service and unforgettable ambiance. The Hotel California is RIGHT across the street from Tequila's Sunrise and both are in the heart of the charming city of Todos Santos. We ate outside in a breezeway decorated with local art and bustling shops just yards away. Our server was extremely friendly and eager to suggest popular menu items. He was very accommodating to my dietary preferences and willing to answer any questions. I got the vegetarian fajitas and they were to die for. The medley of sautéed veggies were full of spices and the tomato especially was so tender and secreted warm juice into my mouth until my eyes watered. We had a cute little basket full of freshly pressed flour and corn tortillas and it was enjoyable to make small tacos with the vegetables, rice and salsa from the chip tray. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had! The avocados were riper than a brown banana and when mixed with the pico de gallo, salsa verde and salsa it was fireworks in my mouth!!! We were also brought complimentary garlic rosemary bread and there are not enough words in my vocabulary to expressed how tender, flavorful and delectable that bread was. ¡¡¡QUE RICO!!! Then we were brought a complementary chocolate flan cake!!! Honestly I am not a fan of flan, but I tried it and the chocolate portion on the bottom and glaze made it pretty darn good. This restaurant is phenomenal and all of the food is fresh and from local farms in the area. You can taste the quality in the food and all of the seasonings were spectacular. If I am ever back in todos santos I will be back for more!

We started with one of their signature. Margaritas...Margarita Damiana. We loved it so much we actually purchased the damiana liqueur . Every ingredient this restaurant uses is organic, no chemicals in any of their food. Their Chile poblano dish is a culinary delight

We took a tour to Todos Santos and had some free time to roam around and decided to get a bite to eat at this place. Although this bar and grill was very touristy and the reviews weren't that great, we didn't have too many choices that were nearby. We shared a ceviche, had some of the complimentary chips and salsa, and my friend also ordered the Margartia Damiana. The food was okay and the margarita was sooooo strong! This herbal-based liquor is popular in Los Cabos and is supposed to make you fertile! You can also purchase a bottle if you'd like. They have a whole wall of liquor for sale. Before we left, we put a dollar bill on the wall to make our mark. Make sure you have enough cash to eat here since they don't accept any other form of payment. Luckily we had enough!

Seriously the best shrimp chili relleno I've ever had!! The flavors are amazing with lots of gooey cheese! The margaritas are what they should be , strong! I'd be afraid to drink two! Looking forward to going back!! Excellent service!

Shrimp and cheese chili relleno - fantastic flavor!

Do not go there! Terrible.. It's a shame it also only caters to foreigners to bait and switch pricing. Beware.

Drive carefully and use a navigation app because the roads off the highway are not well signed or lit. It's totally safe. I know what you're thinking...who needs a farm to table restaurant? Hierbabuena is so much more than a concept. Everything is crafted with the freshest and locally grown produce. If you're looking for cheap eats, there's a lot of options. If you need something special and aimed at great ingredients, this is the spot. Service is kind, knowledgeable, and prepared to give you recommendations. You're tucked away in a garden oasis, with incredible nourishment. There are many flowers, birds, and a great playlist. The meal started with a gratis tiny cup of tasty butternut squash soup. I requested a chicory salad because when is chicory a menu star? It's no surprise that this salad was good. The leaves were dotted with tangy goat cheese and gems of pomegranate seeds. Chicory was the star. I had the fish tacos, three dressed in adobo seasoning, a recommendation over the grilled sea bass special. The plate had three small spoons filled with guac, salsa verde, and the most incredible salsa macha. The salsa macha had notes of chocolate that paired well with the adobo seasoned fish. Don't miss this! The chile relleno was filled with quinoa and veggies, plated on top of two sauces. The flavors were really tasty and I appreciated the thoughtful vegetarian option that highlighted seasonal flavors. I walked in knowing I wanted cheesecake for dessert but then learned a favorite was their flan. I switched with no regrets. This flan was better and nothing like anything I've had before. If you like flan and love coconut, this is for you. The cocktails were so good. The martini was different, I loved this passion fruit margarita, the watermelon juice with tequila was refreshing, and they had great local beer options. I was very happy with this lovely meal. Service was wonderful. Please tip your servers; cash is preferred. They work hard and make all the efforts for a memorable meal.

Compared to other area bars, they have sourced bottles directly from mezcaleros in Oaxaca and other DOM states (vs average bottles you find at most other area bars e.g. Union, 400 Conejos). Presentation is traditional with sliced fruit & crickets. So why only 3 stars? Pricing!! Holy Cha-Ching as these prices are even more expensive than you would find in most US mezcal bars. For example, they have a flight of 6 pours (maybe 1oz each) for $53 USD! They have a Borrego that is going for $26 a pour...thems Las Vegas baller room prices! I dig it but I've not encountered those prices anywhere else in Mexico or most places in the US. Great space tho, and I hear the food is excellent.

We started coming to El Refugio back in early 2018 when they were in their old location near the park. The new location is much bigger but hasn't lost their charm, it still feels like coming home when you walk down the alleyway. Do not leave without doing a mezcal tasting, it's worth it just to read the descriptions of the different mezcal on offer. Everyone who works there is an absolute delight. They also offer cooking classes which I highly recommend. We have done cooking classes in several other cities in Mexico and I can honestly say learning from Noel is an honor and a treat not to be missed.
