He delivered from before the ceremony began (prelude, processional, etc.) through the wedding party introductions to the speeches to the best last dance ever. Everyone was on the dance floor... including my great-uncle who literally didn't even dance at his own daughter's wedding... because the music was THAT good. DJ Jim knows how to read a crowd, and he started with 80s to get everyone moving and grooving (because who could say no to Come On Eileen?!) and then began weaving in 90s (EVERYONE LOVED THE BACKSTREET BOYS, NSYNC, AND AQUA!!!), and Top 40 hits throughout. He is truly such a nice, nice, nice guy, and a top-notch DJ. I can't recommend him enough for a good time. (And his wife, Cheryl, does photo booths too, so it was a slam dunk dynamic duo for us!) He arrived early, was the consummate professional, and had a stellar library of music. He was able to play all of the music we requested (both for the ceremony itself and for the reception), and mixed the songs masterfully. His lighting was perfect and matched to our wedding theme. Our guests kept complimenting us on how great the music/DJ was. It really was a premier experience and well worth the price. He was dressed well for the occasion, was warm and friendly with guests, and knew exactly how to run the mic for introductions and toasts. The sound quality was amazing and he had a great voice for public speaking. Importantly, Jim took time to schedule a special call prior to the big day just to go over selections one last time, and even went through details like track versions and times! This was above and beyond, especially since his website is so well designed and detailed. Really, Jim was everything we could have hoped for our special day. If you want to get a DJ about whom you won't have to worry, who plays great music, is detailed oriented, arrives early, dresses professionally, can run an event, and interacts well with guests, he's your guy.
