I had a fantastic experience they fixed all of my concerns I appreciate their teams work

This mess started in August 2025. Basically their method of repair is to just throw parts at it until something works. Took it in because the warning buzzer that indicates the leveling jacks are down wouldn't shut off. Took it in and they told us it was the control panel that raises and lowers the jacks. They replaced the control panel and said another wiring harness was needed. Then they said it needed a new hydraulic pump. The first time I went to pick it up the buzzer was going off. I was told you have to use the emergency up button. OK, I did that and on the way home (5 mile drive) I had to press the button every couple of minutes because the buzzing would start. Took it back and they were supposed to have repaired it correctly that time. Nope, the first we went to move it at home the buzzing was back. Took it a 3rd time and this time he said it was a leveling jack and he wouldn't charge for labor, just the $1100 jack. Today he said the price went up on him and it was $1309+. What started out as, if I remember correctly, a $3000 fix turned into a $15,000 repair job after 3 visits. The first time when we picked it up they had tried to use super glue to attach trim around the newly installed control panel. They got super glue all around it but it was still warped. It appeared that whoever installed it broke some tabs because when we took it back the 2nd time they cleaned up the super glue and put screws in to hold it in place. This last time we got it back we discovered a cover had been removed inside one of the storage compartment. This cover protected some wiring and they had left the cover and screws in the storage compartment to bounce around. 3 visits and $15,000 we think it might be fixed but he was uncommitted when asked if this would do it. Oh and as an extra kick in the gut, they tacked on an extra $564 for "shop supplies" that as I was told was something their software does automatically. Run, run away. Update 4-30-2026. We sold the camper today and 45 minutes after the buyer left he called to ask what the warning buzzer was for. It had started going off while taking it home. read more

I ordered replacement furniture for my RV and Zack and his team installed it for me. I didn't expect it to look as amazing at it looks!!!I am SO happy with it!! The installation looks factory perfect!! I replaced the full size pull-out bed and L-shaped dining furniture with 2 jack knife sofa beds that I bought (from an Amish furniture place in Indiana) and it looks great!!! Zack and his team did an exceptional job!!! This isn't the first time he did work for me and my RV, he also replaced the main power cable and he will now be my go-to for all the regular maintenance on my RV. They may have been reliable at one time. But that time has passed. I watched the repairmen trying to get a travel trailer off of a hitch. Trying is what's important here. I had to show them the proper way to get it off. I am under the impression that they are auto mechanics not RV mechanics. I say this because they we're using impact wrenches on RV's, a big no no. They buggered up my roof trying to replace my awning. In the process they broke one of the bottom brackets, which are extremely hard to find. Luckily I had a spare. They didn't know how to adjust the tension so it would retract. I had to show them how. They looked like a bunch of monkeys trying to ____ a football. If you know, you know. Their prices for repairs are unusually high because they charge you per person working on your unit. They use more people working on a unit than needed because they don't know what they're doing. I do not recommend them and I'd advice you to go elsewhere. read more

After $400 for an inspection, I paid $6,000 for brakes, an oil change, and a transmission service. There are now more problems with the vehicle than than when I bought it in the first time. According to them, these things are my fault. I was even insulted by Zack. I don't recommend this business. They didn't communicate regularly, and the customer service was beyond poor. I originally told them to inspect the vehicle and give me a quote for any repairs. $3500 went all the way to $6800. The inspection was not done. When it was handed off to me, the man asked if it had a generator. It hadn't been fully inspected. I was deceived. After further inspection, I have discovered that they allowed me to leave on a trip with my family WITHOUT PROPERLY WORKING BRAKE LIGHTS! I DROVE HUNDREDS OF MILES WITHOUT BRAKE LIGHTS! read more

Complete and total rip off! Took my camper in to get repaired, paid over $1500.00 because the owner Zak said they found "other" problems and claimed to fix them. Turns out they fixed NOTHING! Stay away from this place, I am reporting them to the BBB. read more

Total disaster! Took our RV to them to repair a faulty slide controller. They made the repair and then claimed the problem had been solved. However, when we went to pick it up, the slide would not work properly. Claimed there would need to be additional repairs and they would provide a quote. So far, over two weeks later they have not provided a quote nor any follow up calls. While waiting on a repair quote, we were informed that our RV had been vandalized and the catalytic converter had been stolen. Talked to the owner who would not provide details of his insurance company so I could file a claim. Have been told numerous times the owner - Zach Thompson would call us. As of today, I have turned this issue over to an attorney. BEWARE!!! These people have zero respect for their customers and clearly the owner has no concern for basic business integrity! In the end after our RV had been vandalized and the catalytic converter had been stolen from it, we were told their insurance didn't cover these type of events. Further, the repair they claimed to have resolved (it wasn't fixed) was determined by another reputable RV repair dealer that TVRV had installed the wrong slide motor. After confronting them about the inoperable slide, TVTR recommended an additional repair at a price of ~$2,200 when in the end only a ~$500 repair was needed. read more

I had a nice experience with these guys. They always followed up. Were very courteous on the phone and in person. They installed a solar panel on my Winnebago View, and a satellite dish as well on the roof. Both are working well. There was a delay in the part they ordered to move my tag from lower center, up on the back middle left of my View, so it can be seen if i am using a cargo carrier or bike rack on the back. Now my tag can be seen. They got me back in, and did the job after i dropped off at 0800 and picked back up at 1200 hours. good guys. not too pricey. I will go back. Thx Rd read more

My rear AC went out on my motorhome and one of my leveling jacks refused to retract. So after manually retracting the jack, we headed off to Tennessee Valley RV for repairs. Shaye was great on the phone and in person. The techs were very personable but I feel their expertise in the issues that I had was very limited. After trying to run the air conditioner, they informed me that the compressor was bad and a new unit would be needed. Unfortunately, the Coleman unit that would fit my coach would not be available for months. They offered a Furion model that was AC only...no heat strip. After reading about the model, I told the techs that I have a ducted system for the coach and that unit would not work. The unit I needed was not available. So I decided to go without the AC for now. The leveling jack that I had problems with they did test and told me that the jack in question did work with electrical power and that my touch pad in the coach was bad. So no luck getting that repaired either. We decided just to go to Red Bay, AL for repairs on a few other small issues since we were nearby anyway. On a whim, I asked one of the local AC guys to check out my rear AC. Within 5 minutes, it was working. He replaced the bad start capacitor. He also checked the front AC to make sure it was running well. Both AC's have been running like a champ. $125 repair bill versus $150 diagnostic charge with a projected repair bill of $1000 or more, that's the reason for the mediocre rating. I don't mind paying the diagnostic charge as long as it is correct. In this case, I am not happy about it at all. I called the local leveling jacks guy here and he informed me to call M&M electronics in Ohio about sending in the the touch pad for overhaul. They told me to first check how much current each motor draws because if 3 are drawing consistent power and one draws way more amps then that is the problem, not the touch pad. I have yet to get that accomplished but this is something that a good tech should know. They may have done it but I was not informed of the current draw each motor took. So..they may be correct in that assessment but only by luck, not by complete diagnosis. Again, the company is nice and they appear that they want to be good and I would give them 5 stars for that but their technical skills in this instance is the reason for the two stars, and that is being generous. I am sure they have expertise in other areas that I did not need at this time. Their technical skills need to be improved. I would recommend that their techs be sent to school such as the National RV Training Academy in Texas. read more

I won't be going back nor can I recommend this business. I brought my new Cedar Creek 5th Wheel in to Tenn Valley Mobile RV because they said they could do Forest River/Cedar Creek manufacture warranty service and they could take me right away. To make a long story short, they eventually said my 5th wheel was ready to go and that the manufacturers warranty would cover the expense for parts and installation. So, I out and took possession passion of the 5th and headed home. When I started checking things out at home I found that other equipment had failed and some of the repairs associated with the replaced part were not working as they should. So, I decided to take it back to see if there was some sort of easy fix or loose connection. I was met in the lobby by the owner, Zak who proceeded to tell me 3 times that he had not made a dime on that warranty work. (I'm not sure how quick a manufacturer will cover warranty costs but it had only been a couple days since they completed the work). He then followed that comment up by saying that the warranty claim wasn't my problem but it was his issue to work with Forest River. I still don't understand why he was blaming me for his problem with Forest River. When I started to ask again for a technician to just take a quick look at the problems again I was told that if I would have to leave the trailer with him and he would get to it but there were at least 40 people ahead of me. Because he hadn't received his money from Forest River he wouldn't even look at mine until then. Flabbergasted I gave up and left. The technicians and admin support, Jon and Shaye were great and tried to keep me informed along the way as to what was happening during the original service but It was obvious that Zak was going to be a roadblock. I'd heard rumors from other previous customers before going to Tenn Valley Mobile RV but I thought they were probably over reacting. Boy was I wrong. Zak is young and inexperienced and obviously over his head in being a business owner. I will never set foot in his establishment again and can't recommend it to anyone. read more

Tennessee Valley RV had our unit for over a month. Mind you, we only have put about 2500 miles on it and the interior was in perfect condition. Having spent over $5000 with them over the past year - batteries, getting the roof resealed (because they said it needed it), winterizing, dewinterizing, washing, replacing the awning lights, and putting a new lock on the outdoor kitchen, we expected better. Upon picking up our RV, it was returned to us with our things thrown about and dirty. Whatever they put on the bench seat permanently put small holes in it. The driver's seat was torn to shreds like someone with a toolbelt sat in it and scratched it up. There were other small tears as well. We immediately called Zach and sent him the pictures. He said he would get back to us with some answers - possibly replacing or reupholstering. He said he was sorry and that he had fired three techs that week. We waited for his phone call for a week. Nothing. My husband then called and was told they were just talking about it and what could be done and would call us back. Again, nothing. My husband waited a week and called them back only to be told that the tearing was due to normal wear and tear. I'm sorry, we keep our RV spotless. It was immaculate when we brought it in. To look at it now breaks my heart. We will never do business with these unscrupulous people again. Beware! read more

would give zero stars if possible. They will charge thousands of dollars and still not fix what you brought it in for. Charged us over $1600 for generator work. Took it home and Generator won't even start. Paid over $3000 to seal for leaks......RV still leaking. I don't think their mechanics know what they are doing. Not only did they not fix what we brought it in for, they messed with things so that now i get no power to the rear cabin (none of the lights work; fridge does not work; water pump not working; other issue as well). I complained and told them I didn't think they were an ethical business and took advantage of elderly people. (charged me over $7000 for repairs and would not address the issues THEY caused!) We may have to cancel planned trips as our RV is non-functional (No electricity or water in cabin) and other RV places are booked. My advice? DO NOT bring your RV to these guys. read more

DO NOT SUE THIS BUSINESS FOR RV WORK!!! Everyone, except the "owner", was great at this business. Took my camper for warranty work. This was known prior to dropping the unit off. I called weekly and talked to the young lady about the progress of my camper. She was always friendly and helpful. I know warranty work is a slow process so I understand it taking over a month to get approved. Last week I was informed the part was in and service would be completed this week. However, 10 minutes after getting the call the "owner" called me back and berated me on the phone. Told me to come get my camper and they were done with warranty work. He was extremely unprofessional. That is why I am using quotes when I use the word owner. I am not sure how an owner can talk to customers like this and stay in business. read more

INITIAL REVIEW: Based on my experience dropping off my Onan 2.8kw generator I give them a four star rating. I'm sure it will jump to 5 when done. Office is clean an uncluttered; staff is friendly and customer oriented. I dealt with John and I felt very comfortable. Dropped motorhome off second week in July to start warranty claim process on coolant overflow tank on generator. Expressed to them the trip coming up in Sept we had planned. 3 weeks prior to said date, called to check on a status. They said they were waiting on parts. I went to pick up to start preparing for our trip but after getting there found the generator would not start. Tech checked and found all four house batteries were shot. They immediately replaced batteries but told me the 300 amp main bus was now blown as well. Left it there so they could fix. After 2 weeks of no call I called to see what was going on and they said it was finished. I went to pick up next day and generator started so I brought it home. That evening I was checking everything out and found the inverter was not putting any power out. I then carried back to be told the inverter was bad and they would have to replace it. Now I have had to cancel our trip while inverter gets replaced. Again after no return calls, I had to call many times for a status. Finally after a couple weeks they say it is completed and I could come get it. End of Sept I went to pick it up and now motorhome will only run for about 2 mins before shutting down. Talked to them Oct 1 and was told they would call me on Oct 3. I had motorhome towed from TN Valley RV repair to freightliner where they replaced the engine coolant sensor. Now that I have it home the refrigerator keeps blowing a fuse and the batteries will not charge. No I am taking it to someone else to attempt to figure out what is going on with it now.. Bottom Line, I do not recommend using TN Valley RV repair. Things I carried it in to be fixed: Generator Coolant tank (Not fixed yet) Things that have been replaced since being there: 4 House batteries, 2 Chassis batteries, Inverter, 300 amp bus fuse, Engine coolant sensor and module, unknown what is needed on the refrigerator and lastly batteries are not charging as of yet. read more

They were able to get us in immediately, made the quick fix and got us back on the road. Staff was nice and knowledgeable! Amazing company. Called 08/05 at 1000 to report fried inverter. By 08/06 at 2pm it was fixed and back in business. Folks this service comes to you. No more leaving your camper at the dealers shop for weeks at a time. This company is going places and I'm sticking with them. Zach and Jeff are friendly good ole boys too. I took my motorhome to them for an oil change and ended up with a bill for over $1100. They said I could use an air filter change so I had them do this too. I asked them to check the brakes and they came back 10 minutes later and said they were fine ($125 charge). I asked them to check generator and they came back 15 minutes later and said it was fine ($125 charge). They charged and ungodly amount for oil and filters. The air filter was on order so this didn't get done but I did pay for it. Air filter change was $250. I cancelled this service but because they had already ordered the filter, I had to pay there ridiculous price for it. They said they could cancel this order. I will never set foot in their shop again and if you decide to, I would bring all the parts and oils to keep the cost down. Anything you ask them to seems to have an hourly rate even if it takes 4 minutes. Be warned. This work was done over a year ago and I waited this long because I was still fuming and didn't want to be to harsh on them. I rated them at 1 star because there is not a lower rating. read more

I took my class A RV in for service on my auto park system, to get 3 new tires on the rear, check my motorized steps, change the oil and all the fluids. They returned my call the next day, they could not fix the auto park. 3 weeks later, I went to pick it up, and before I left after paying a large bill, the RV would not start. They replaced the main battery, but the auxiliary batteries were also dead (which I didn't notice until I got home) I also noticed that the scotches on the tires were not there. The auto park keeps the RV at stop. But because it was not fixed, I always made sure the tires were scotched. When I went to check the belly boxes for the scotches, I noticed that my RV had been wrecked and repaired with paint and bond in the rear driver panel and the belly box would not latch. The owner had no idea what had happened. He said he personally drove the RV to Kelly tires in Madison and was going to check with them to see if someone there had wrecked and repaired it without notifing anyone. He said no one at his shop was responsible. I had to file my own insurance to fix what damage was left and not repaired. I had faith in the owner to resolve this, but he reported to my insurance they were not responsible. I left my RV there in their hands as a responsible business at their word and reputation. They had run the auxiliary batteries down which cost me additional money in two new batteries, and apparently they used my hydraulic system to lift and change the rear tires, which without and auto park system, it probally rolled while on rear lift and damaged the hydraulics!!!!! They said Kelly Tires were responsible for that, but would not claim the damage. Highly upset, I left there with an oil change, 3 tires and fluid check. They did not fix the steps or auto park, and I went home with wrecked RV and more damage!!! I would not recommend anyone to leave their vehicle with this company. read more
