I found Golden State through the California Secretary of State's official website and after having…read morea TERRIBLE experience with one of their competitors, I was a bit weary to sign up for their online notary class. However, I did sign up and I am glad I did. The course was straightforward and easy to follow. It was all done by video and the instructor made the information easy to process and retain. He even made me laugh several times! I still have a bit of studying to do before my state exam, but I did well on the practice tests after going through the course. I passed, but as I want to do better on the state exam I will study for a bit before to do better. I was amazed at how much I retained from a short course done in a day (6 hours online with a few starts and stops). I had a technical issue in the middle of the class and the call was answered right away and the problem fixed. So far it has been a good experience and I look forward to completing the rest of the process.
