Unfortunately, I had to wait 30 minutes after my scheduled time to see anyone, and it wasn't even a doctor as I'd wanted. Overall, I didn't get any bad vibes from the place, but it didn't necessarily feel particularly welcoming either. The office is somewhat sterile in its appearance and atmosphere (not exactly what you want in a gynecologist) so I have since found another place. To each their own.

Birgit Roth. Seem competent but quite passive aggressive, making you feel guilty for no reason and very didactic. She speaks english but is obviously annoyed if you don't speak German. Pills she prescibed didn't work and then she was angry that I stop taking them. Refused to check my coil since I got it while living abroad. Basically, not recommended.

I am an English speaker who went to see Dr Joachim because my German isn't so good. I was really…read moredisappointed and upset as from the moment I entered her room and explained my problem she rolled her eyes and made negative comments, putting me down and treating me like an idiot. I also have a health issue as well as previous abuse in my childhood which means I am extremely sensitive and fear being examined in my genital area so when I flinched she asked me rudely, well do you want me to help you or not? Then she was very rough physically with me and made more negative comments that there was nothing wrong with me as she poked around in a place I never asked her to look. (I actually went there about a rash in bottom not my vagina!). My impression of her is she is a bully and very judgemental. If you are a little sensitive and looking for a doctor who is patient, with a kind bedside manner then I suggest you stay far away from her.
