Besides that, there are concerts in the summer, a unique Biblical Garden, and OUTrageous Bingo. So I congratulate Rodef Shalom on their outreach to non-profits, for their service to the others.

Each plant is clearly lovingly maintained, and displayed with a corresponding Biblical Verse. Many cities have hidden little gems that are unknown to the general public; this is Pittsburgh's, and it is a neighborhood treasure. Whenever I'm in Pittsburgh in the summer, I find there's no more uplifting way to spend a half hour.

Their Tot Shabbat is able to hold the attention of even the smallest children.

If you go, there is almost a guarantee that the rabbi will introduce himself to you and you will probably have many members of the community coming up to meet you as well. I only found out because they published my name in their newsletter as being a new member. Now I'm afraid I'll get a bill for dues even though I never signed up. I have asked to be unsubscribed from the newsletter and for them to stop contacting me and they won't do either. Whoever hired Kenneth Turkewitz should re-examine their ability to do HR work because he's a nightmare.

It was recommended to us by friends, and we have not been disappointed. My son (and I) had a rough transition there in the beginning moving here from out of town and to a new school, but the teachers and administration were patient and worked with us until we all felt comfortable. The teachers are nurturing, the curriculum is fun and educational (even for my two-year old!), and everyone there treats my son (and us!) like family - everyone in the building knows his name! Even as a toddler, our son is getting way more than just daycare. His favorite part of the day is clearly music class because he comes home singing every song imaginable. He can't wait for next year when he'll have a train table and sand box in his classroom! The school came through for us when we needed them most (while I recovered from surgery for two months) with extra hours and anything we needed. We are so appreciative to be a part of this wonderful community.

I was truly let down by this church. I went a few times to see for myself what church I should…read morefind Jesus in as Im a retired military man that just moved here. I went to speak with their pastor Rebecca DePoe. She didn't seem to have any sort of care or attention in the slightest for myself as I unfortunately experienced there. The congregation and people were absolutely attuned to His message nevertheless the church's folks there were exceedingly sweet and welcoming to myself. Although, her, the leader of this beautiful church did NOT have any sort of spiritual light and comforting welcome even in the most smallest of ways. I was truly let saddened and let down in my heart. No, let's meet sometime so I can see who you are and what I can do for you as a minister in counsel or prayer. I was going through a truly rough crisis in my life here and bein' a war veteran really truly needed Jesus and His love. About a month later on I had called the Presbyterian church there to inquire of a church event that they were having and mistakenly had called up her own line somehow in their phone system. I apologized modestly and explained to her that I was transferred to her by accidentally and apologized respectfully. I them heard a tisk criticizing mouth sound from her and then hung upon loudly. I now just sit from my residence alone to receive Jesus from an actual caring Reverend Joel Osteen from Pastor Joel. At least some preachers actually truly do care to some sort of extent for me a Wounded Warrior lifelong war veteran of our America, and follower of Jesus' even though they never met me. Thank God for Joel. Too bad all preachers can't be more real and caring as Pastor Joel is most benevolently. I went to her public facebook page to see all of the many many places she went to all over Europe; all I required was 1/1000th of that sort of attention, respect, and caring that she gave her own fabulous self centered fb page..., Sad.
