    Best temple in town, unless you want to go to one of the Chabad's in town. Everybody is a Mensch

Many people feel their lives are fuller and are changing themselves as a result. We were so motivated that within a month of attending services we bought a trailer so that we can easily be there every Saturday. My husband finally has a shul where he can daven daily for the first time in 10 years. Aryeh and Leah Lang are truly beautiful people. You can feel how the congregants are happy to become part of the energy of this shul. It is a warm, spiritual place and I thank G-d for guiding us in this direction.

It is one of the largest Hasidic groups and Jewish religious organizations throughout the world and boasts a membership of more than 18,000. Though Orthodox affiliated, Chabad welcomes both Jews and non Jews alike and seeks to educate all about the customs and rituals of Judaism. Per Wikipedia, Chabad was Founded in 1775 by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi. The movement received its name "Chabad", from the Hebrew acronym for Chochmah, Binah, Da'at, which means wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. These is important because the word Chabad represent the intellectual underpinnings of the movement. Connecting the dots, the word Lubavitch is the Yiddish name of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth village Lubowicze (Lyubavichi) now in modern day Russia, where the movement's leaders resided for 100+ years. As unaffiliated Jews who moved to the area several years ago, Chabad of Camarillo welcomed us with open arms.
