The four supporting buttresses terminate in tin caps, each sporting the Star of David. The temple has been serving the area for 125 years with a brief period of reduced activity around 1940. Originally constituted as a reform congregation, at the re-dedication in 1954 it became a conservative congregation.

We finally ended our search a year ago when we found congregation Emmanuel! We are not regular attendees by any means, but when we do go then we are always impressed by the intimate and friendly atmosphere, coupled by intelligent conversation and a pride in Judaism which is often hard to find in the Deep South. I definitely look forward to attending again in the future!

Today we played host to the Funny Together Tour a clean comedy event. The event was sold out and both Andy Beningo & Rhonda Corey kept us laughing during the entire show. It's great to have clean comedians that Christians can support. I had a blast and will definitely see them if they return. Best part is that Vienna Baptist is such a great community church that does a lot for our community. If you don't have a church please visit and check it out.

The church ladies help arrange the poinsettias at the church to look especially pretty on our wedding day and the sound guy, Jim, volunteered to run the music for our wedding.
