After filling out paperwork and still waiting for the phantom Doctor I was advised that because I do not have any Medical records with me they can't accept my appointment! I have mixed feelings on their product because…read morethey do get in things from some of the better growers like Tower Three, but they don't offer medical patient service and their prices are always on the high side. In terms of the shop itself, it's unfortunately basically a clone of most other dispos - almost like there is one decorator/blueprint that most of them use. So differentiating has to be with product and service. On the actual products, it's been very hit or miss with the freshness on purchases, which I've talked to people at the store before about. On service - they, like SO many other dispos, use dutchie for the online storefront and ordering, and I HATE dutchie. It's difficult and inflexible to use (Can I just look for all products from Tower Three? Nope! I have to pick a particular product then start filtering by brand. Can I get super easy access to a brand filter and choose all of my preferred brands at once THEN look at the listings? Nope! It's going to re-paint the screen with each.single.checkbox.I.click). Dutchie leads me back to the service part - I've had tons of problems with their system over the years with different dispos, but on my last 2-3 visits to Botera I've been unexpectedly told there is a problem with their payment system. The last time, I was met at the front by a not friendly person who just said "ATMs down, cash only, there is an ATM inside" and wasn't happy when I mentioned on previous visits I was told about the same problems and that they would be temporary. Look, it's not my problem if Dispo's or Dutchie has issues to hash out with the debit card networks - if your system is down, just announce it with a dismissable banner on your website and maybe even on the front door. Don't make me waste my time coming down there, and no, I'm not going to use a random ATM in a dispo. I really disliked the front receptionist's attitude so I'm taking a break from Botera for a while. My backup suggestion is to go visit High Hopes in Mendon, probably 10 minutes away.

Well - a few weeks ago we had a snow storm. I went to UpTop a couple of days after the storm to pick up an order. The parking lot had not been plowed. All the snow was covered with solid ice. There was no clear pathway to the door - just snow covered with ice. I mentioned to a couple of people inside that the parking lot was treacherous, and they said that their headquarters are in Ohio, and that they were not allowing the store to have the lot plowed, nor would they allow ice melt or sand to be put down. One person advised me to be very careful leaving, because she had almost fallen earlier in the day. That shows me a complete disregard for their customers and their employees. I emailed, but nobody responded. My husband needed to place another order a couple of weeks later, but I wouldn't return there. Just as an added note, they no longer offer medical cannabis - only recreational. In nice weather, this is a great shop. In the winter, you'd be risking your limbs.

Thankfully i came across Dr Caplan and CED clinic who actually called and set up an appt with me after 10pm on a weeknight immediately following my visit to their site on a whim. Not only is Dr Caplan one the most knowledgeable medical marijuana doctors in the field for adults and children (special cases only) he also offers a bevy information including what dispensaries offer deals to new patients and where to go discounts when you renew not to mention courses on growing your own medicine! When i returned on for my first renewal i complained to Dr Caplan that i was exceeding my 10 ounce limit too quickly due to the stringent rules regarding concentrates (5 grams is equal to 28 grams of flower) and he doubled my allotment and since then i havent come close to needing to go out of state or to the gray market to get the medicine i need. Im about to return for my 3rd yr with CED and Dr Caplan, if you need comprehensive care for your med pot needs, there is no one better for the job!

Then if its still wrong and have not been able to get it because of whatever reason there is no refund and there is no where to go because they do not have any open store front to walk into .
