I'm the first review in English so don't want to be the one to bring everyone down about the Hotel…read morePark Laurin... but it may only deserve 4.632 stars, and here's why. -No coffee before 7AM. Is wanting an early morning coffee an American thing? I want to get up at five, have some coffee and go down to the gym before the day starts. Maybe a little coffee maker in the room even? -The hotel gym, while beautifully situated in this cool little converted room/free standing outbuilding deeper on the grounds, consisted of two or three cardio machines. No free weights, no weight machines. -the Restaurant Park Laurin (again, in a BEAUTIFUL environment under a canopy on the grounds) was good but not great. -The lobby was pretty sweltering when we first entered. (in June) But enough minor complaints. Overall, the place was pretty awesome. Just old-school enough, very charming, spacious rooms, amazing grounds to walk around (see pix), all the staff were great, deluxe breakfast buffet. The cocktail we had on the Laurin Bar patio overlooking the lush, green grounds made for one of the best moments of the 4 days in Bolzano.

The women are dressed like maidens and every breathtaking view will remind you of the sound of music. After dinner, head down to the wine cellar for wine and cheese and they also offer a variety of strudel for your sweet tooth. Breakfast consists of eggs made to order, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juices, coffee. The church next door rings bells every 15mins, but after the first hour you don't even notice it. The hotel has mostly older guests, 65+, but if you're younger and looking for some nightlife, there is a bar down the hill (1 minute walk) that offers live music and drinks. My two gripes: the bathroom is tiny and the door is glass so you have zero privacy. The beds are a little old and creek with every turn. All in all, it was a great experience and I'm glad we checked this off of our bucket list!

It is located in the heart of alps surrounded by divine natural beauty. The hotel itself is very cute and cozy. It has a huge dining hall/Bar on the ground floor. They also have a numerous spa amenities such as sauna, turkish bath, sleeping room, and my favorite of all hot tub on the patio that overlooks the mountains. A BIG YES!! The hosts treat all their guests like their family. The food was exceptionally good. Everything was made from scratch and served with perfection. The dinner menu changes daily based on the chef's special. Be sure to come with a huge appetite! The breakfast is a buffet style. They serve a wide range of bread, prosciutto, cereal, cheese and beverages. If you are here during the ski season, you can buy the ski pass directly from the hotel. Service was great, they were non stop trying to get to everyone. Tons of parking in front. They had a sign posted that they were open which was helpful when you are driving by. Most other places you only found out after you parked down the road to find out they just closed.
