However, that was not where the problem started. I am disappointed in their customer service & accountability as a company. I received an email from Vanessa stating that my tax returns were completed and she would be processing a payment of $475. She stated that the charge would take place on March 18th. I expected the payment to be withdrawn on the date that she mentioned in the email. Well to my surprise, I get a notification from my bank a month later stating that a charge of $475 was denied. I was confused because I did not buy anything for $475. I was a complete wreck thinking that I had a fraud alert on my account. After diving deeper into what occurred with my bank, I realized that the company never withdrew the amount on March 18th & was trying to make the withdrawal without notifying me (a month later). I called Andrew, who was no help, to let him know what occurred. I told him that I do not mind paying what is owed, however, as a customer I should have been made aware of the mistake that occurred. I have multiple accounts and move money from one account, to the other quite frequently. As someone who works in customer service as a healthcare provider, I am disappointed in how this occurred. Our economy is in too horrible of a shape right now to not notify customers prior to making any withdrawals. Especially when it is occurring a month later outside of what was originally stated in the email provided to me.

She messaged me right away; I assumed she was concerned about the 1-star rating. She called me several times and texted me saying how sorry she was. I did call her back to kindly let her know I already found another CPA. She convinced me to drop my CPA and went with her instead just to string me along for over 2 weeks with no intention of working on my taxes. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
