This…read morepark features greenspace, which is paved on the outer edge; a pavilion; and 2 very long slides. The walking trail is shaded, and it consists of 2 bridges separated. From start to finish, it is only 0.8 miles, and it usually takes me about 10 minutes to walk it. I like to take my dog here on warm days since it is much cooler on the trail. The first half of the trail overlooks a really dirty pond that is filled with tons of turtles. It's peaceful but makes me wonder how the turtles are able to survive in the dark chocolate water. The second half of the trail ends in a neighborhood. If you are looking to get your steps in for the day, you can circle the green space. Overall, it's not the most impressive park. They definitely could have put more thought into the cohesiveness , but it gives the locals a nice place to enjoy nature.

For…read morefifty years this land was home to Chester and Rose Evelyn Minor, their children, and one grandchild (me!). Chester and his two sons built the brick split-level themselves. Rose maintained a large garden many of those years, and the yard was studded with fruit-trees. The house survived two floods that destroyed the contents of the basement, but the flood of 1994 swamped the house in 5' of muddy water... high enough to flood the upper split story in a foot of water. The damage was too extensive and the property was sold to the government so that it could become this lovely little park. Enjoy!

It saved my pups from boredom. Before, I had to walk them four to five times a day and their late night walk was the LONG one so they'd sleep well. I have a fifteen year old Husky mix, Simone; a three year old Bully mix, Otis; and a six month old Bully mix, Pearl. I've only given four stars because the bugs are insane. I thought they'd be scarce during the heat of the day...nope, they love the heat too. Also, there's a lot of shrubbery and tree debris. Be careful navigating so you don't fall and trip and seriously hurt yourself. Watch out for your pups running near fallen branches, positioned in a precarious manner. We did happen to meet a sweet old girl, named Susie. She and her Mom came into the large dog pen to hang with my crew and me for a bit. Anyhoo, it's not super fancy, but it serves its purpose and I feel is a wonderful addition to RAFB! Now, I don't have to take thirty minute walks in the early AM, and still not have every dog use the loo. Now, I get up, throw on some yoga pants and a tee, load the pups up, and drive a minute, then unload the pups into the park and just hang for an hour while they do their business (I always pick up after my pups) and play. I bring a large water bowl, two gallons of water, various toys, baby wipes, towel, bug spray, and antibacterial hand sanitizer. I'd never take food or treats into the park with dogs I don't know. Some dogs can be food aggressive and it could spark an altercation. The same goes for toys too. At the first sign of trouble, I take said toy away. Enjoy! Your pups will thank you!

Only problem is no one cleans the park. Alot of trash threw out the park, broken glass, beer bottle tops, nasty condom's, bathrooms are dirt & toilets are broken! Bathrooms lock up before 7pm even tho the sign says from 7am till 7pm.. Has doggy bag stations with no bags in them. No direction signs to where the trail starts up again in the middle to get to the other side. Some dogs run off leash even tho there are leash laws. Graffiti along the park & trail along with broken wooden sitting stools.. Teenagers running wild usen bad language as if they don't know any other words and doing as they wish. There is a sign that says the park belongs to one of the collages but yet I never see them out there cleaning the park up.. No phone number posted to rent the pillvions.. Could be a five star park if they cleaned the park up... Get it together fountain lake park.. Keep the parks clean and safe for us to use..

I usually see my dogs scratching from loose hair when they get home from other groomers, but not today! No loose hair, no heavy powder smell and they look great. I was happy to get them back within three hours. I used another groomer while waiting to get on the schedule to Dog's Life and these cuts are so much better.

Also, there is always something wrong with his haircut. His face is always cut uneven and they also miss spots on his body/legs. My mother brings her Yorkie here and his face is so uneven as well. And both of them are always really itchy for a couple of days after their appointment. My Shih Tzu's nails are always sharp too. I thought maybe it would get better after a few times, but nope.
