The patio is in a parking lot with a cinder block wall on one side and traffic from the market on the other. However this should not deter you from giving the food a try. Really delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients.

Le Veau est local : Veau des Monts du Velay et Forez. L'agneau est un agneau de lait Allaiton d'Aveyron. Les volailles fermières sont commandées directement à un éleveur de Haute-Loire. Les préparations bouchères sont toutes réalisées par nos soins : rôti de veau farci nature, orange-foie gras, rôti de volaille, paupiette copa-pruneau, paupiette jambon-olive, spirale de veau, saucisses de volaille, saucisse de veau, au piment d'Espelette, basquaise, aux herbes, très grande gamme de brochettes (dinde, boeuf, canard...) After a long touristy day, we were hungry. Being a late hour, there weren't too many options, and…read morePalace was one place which was open, so thought we'd give it a try. Were we glad we did! The hosts were extremely welcoming. Despite a slight language barrier, sign language helped us communicate. We ordered the meat platter, and were wondering if it would be enough. The hostess smiled and courteously assured us it would be. Was she right or was she right? The platter was filled with several different cuts of grilled meat, along with salads, rice, and potato wedges/fries. But more than quantity, the quality... It was sublime! Grilled to perfection, each cut was exquisite. We weren't sure we would finish it all, but after tasting each one, the plate was clean when we were done. Since we were obviously tourists, the hostess gave us a small piece of baclava each, free! Of course we insisted on paying for it, but they refused. There were plenty of tables, and parking was across the street. Since we came a bit later, we didn't have any issue getting a table or parking; not sure how it is if you come during a busy time. In short, lot of food, great taste, and most of all, the welcoming nature! I highly recommend Palace to any one who is wondering.

Chicken was more moist than expected and I especially liked the sausages. Cheesy bread with I think olives is also nice. Had enough to takeaway an extra meal. They even have my favorite Cherry Coke.
