Were we glad we did! The hosts were extremely welcoming. Despite a slight language barrier, sign language helped us communicate. We ordered the meat platter, and were wondering if it would be enough. The hostess smiled and courteously assured us it would be.
Was she right or was she right? The platter was filled with several different cuts of grilled meat, along with salads, rice, and potato wedges/fries. But more than quantity, the quality... It was sublime! Grilled to perfection, each cut was exquisite. We weren't sure we would finish it all, but after tasting each one, the plate was clean when we were done.
Since we were obviously tourists, the hostess gave us a small piece of baclava each, free! Of course we insisted on paying for it, but they refused.
There were plenty of tables, and parking was across the street. Since we came a bit later, we didn't have any issue getting a table or parking; not sure how it is if you come during a busy time.
In short, lot of food, great taste, and most of all, the welcoming nature! I highly recommend Palace to any one who is wondering.
