I show up to a full room of people and them saying we don't do appointments anymore so I have to wait over an hour and a half. the place was dirty and dingy. I finally go back to a dirty looking room to see a foreign lady who only tests me for flu and covid when I tell her I have had a bad sore throat for days. she then tells me she doesn't want to treat me too much cuz I am pregnant... I would think that would be more reason to treat me. don't waste time going here. it's been days and I'm still sick. I will go elsewhere for treatment.

She did end up having strep, had I not requested the test she would have been left untreated. in their defense the only symptom she had was a cough no sore throat or anything and the Dr said he doubted she had it as he didn't see anything that would make him believe she had it. My daughters little friend had it and her only symptom was the cough and that's why I insisted they give her the test, they had shared drinks and everything so I was pretty sure she had it before we went. Great place tho! very friendly and seemed knowledgeable but a little quick to write it off as something else so I'm struggling between 3 and 5 stars

The receptionist was very kind in my opinion in person but not over the phone (she was very dismissive and was having a conversation with someone else while answering my call). Most people working had casual attire on which I guess is okay as long as care is given, it just takes away from the professionalism of it being a medical facility. For example: the guy who took me back before the doctor saw me was wearing sweatpants and a puffer jacket. I got my ear checked out by doctor Mustafa who was more professional and friendly and he sent me on my way with antibiotics to pick up. He said I should be feeling better overnight or within two days and my ear problem hasn't gone away but hopefully my antibiotics just need a few more days to kick in. Overall, this place was okay. Attire isn't everything and no one was rude or disrespectful. I definitely wouldn't NOT recommend it but there is probably a more professional place within a 5 mile radius.

You have to spend 30 mins on the phone running around a phone tree and repeating yourself. And if you have an active child that has moved away at college age and doesn't get seen they will drop them as a patient and tell you they can schedule you in 7+ months! I would assume the doctors would not approve of this treatment for their patients, but it's all about billing and dollars now. No one cares that your child has been a patient since they were 4.

I accidentally put a steak knife through my thumb and knew I needed urgent, but not emergent, care. I held firm pressure on the cut and drove myself the 19 miles to IEP. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. Lucky for me, there was no one waiting. That NEVER happens, especially to me! But Heather checked me in and made me feel so much better about my situation. There was a sign stating that there was only one practitioner working that day, but truly, I was seen in no time, by Ainsleigh, PA extraordinaire!!! She made me feel at ease, as I had never had stitches before. Before long, I was out the door with four stitches and an updated tetanus shot, happy as a clam that I had chosen to come to IEP. If you need an Urgent Care Center, and you are are an understanding person who respects what these lovely people are trying to do for you, even if you have to wait, please give this place a try.

I continued to suffer for a few more days (because they told me not to come back for 5 DAYS) before finally deciding to go to a different walk-in. Turns out, I VERY OBVIOUSLY had strep throat. Then, to top it all off, they decided to charge me over $100 for my visit (yes, even with insurance). I am never going back. Absolutely ridiculous.

Thankfully, I went to Medical Care 1 the next day, as they are very highly rated on Google ,and I think they may have saved my eye! The girls at the front desk were absolutely amazing and able to pull up my insurance as I thought I lost my insurance card at the previous urgent care. Practitioner was absolutely amazing and had a background of dog bites wounds and immediately got me some steroids for the swelling, antibiotic eye drops, and set me up with U of M, plastic surgery, and an ophthalmologist that is highly rated in the local area. When I finally got to see NP I explained that Ive suffered with asthma my whole life. Trying to explain what my family doctor does for me I was prescribed an inadequate amount of meds for five days. It's like they're afraid to really help you because they don't know you. In all fairness, they did what they could to help me. If you have a cut finger this is a great place to go.
