If the owner thought I was a scammer, surely that was cleared up after my second text when I tried to clarify if I had the right number. But he never responded, and just slandered me online instead. After finishing work at my girlfriend's home, the worker who performed the job contacted her personally and said that if her relationship ever didn't work out, he would be happy to take her on a date. He had been inside our home, knew she was in a committed relationship, and this crossed a serious professional boundary. Regardless of intent, this behavior was inappropriate, made us uncomfortable, and damaged our trust in the professionalism and respect customers should expect when inviting workers into their home.
