Sears Home Services / Sears Appliance Repair -- Avoid This Service…read more This was by far the worst appliance repair experience I have had. I hired Sears Home Services to replace the cooling fan motor in a KitchenAid refrigerator. After the initial visit, Sears charged me in advance for the part, then scheduled and canceled the next four repair appointments, each near the end of the four-hour service window. Customer service was equally frustrating. Communication was almost entirely through automated/AI texts and phone systems, with virtually no ability to speak with a person who could resolve the problem. After four canceled appointments, poor communication, wasted hours, and no completed repair, I ultimately filed a dispute with my bank to recover the money charged. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Sears Home Services for appliance or refrigerator repair. The service, scheduling, communication, and customer support were unacceptable and a complete waste of time and money.

It is now the 20th and all I get is excuses. They say it's due to weather. My Dad has spent days clearing the driveway on the off chance they'll show while I have spent days and a ton on salting it so they can make it up. They say they are checking and that's a complete lie. They may drive by and glance but they don't check. I am completely out of propane and while they are quick to apologize but slow to actually do their job. Avoid them if you need propane.

The first time I had a small Case XX knife engraved for by daughter for a Christmas gift. The engraving was great on this item and I was impressed since the space was so small. The most recent item is a project that I have been working. I went to Kyle with the idea and he took some notes. He called be a few days later with options. Ultimately, the way I had it the spacing would not uniformed since I did everything freehanded. This would also cause the cost to go up a lot since it would take a lot of setup time. I ended up going with his recommendation. It turned out great and I am very pleased with it. MADD Engraving also engraves glass and the continue to invest in other engraving options.
