Out on a limb was the first to respond to my service call that I did using yelp for in the area contractors. The owner Dan, came out and looked at the tree and asked if it was going to be paid by insurance. And yes it was being paid by insurance, so he said that we could just sign over the insurance check or the faster way was to deal directly and get the money paid back by the insurance company. Due to the weather and rain we elected to deal directly with him and get the tree off the roof and the debris hauled off. Dan and his crew of two people showed up in beat up rusted out used GM pick up truck and trailer that was barely able, and bobcat machine. I knew right away that the operation they are running was highly suspect and was questionable. He said that his team could tarp the holes on the roof, but they did not bring a tarp of any kind (I had to go buy a tarp from Harbor Freight for them to use) they did not bring a broom (I had to supply them my shop broom), and the whole operation was pretty poor and suspect. They did chainsaw the tree into pieces and got it removed from the roof (but to be honest me and my brother could have easily did that so nothing special there ). The hardest part the tree debris removal (and most important part)- I believe they did one load on their trailer and that was all. Our agreement was they remove all of tree debris (I even have a signed receipt that directly mentions the debris removal). Towards the end of the day Dan knocks on the door and says that they will come back tomorrow (Saturday) to finish the job and that they would be leaving their equipment out back. He then asked for the check because he needed to pay his crew for the day. While it seemed unprofessional and abrupt he was paid in full for the project and he even gave me a receipt for the work (which was turned into the insurance company). The next day I pull up to the house and the equipment is gone, no update, no phone call, nothing. Dan's communication is absolutely terrible and exactly non existent (don't expect him to tell what is happening or a plan because he does not have one). I had to call him because I was concerned about the equipment and he let me know that they came and got it (must have been early in the morning because I go to work and 6 am) and that they would be back to finish the job that they were paid in full for. Well, it is one excuse after another with Dan, and he won't even send a crew over to finish the job. The first excuse was the mulching place's equipment was broke and they were waiting on a part, that is not my problem. Then it was the weather again not my problem, the final excuse was that he got a spider bite (no proof of that either), again not my problem. He needs to finish the job he was paid in full to complete back in May 2025. So today as usual I have asked Dan for a plan to finish the job, again no answer, and it has been this way for three weeks now. My company has gone ahead and turned this into the insurance company as contractor fraud (we will be filing a lien again Dan), and it is considered a felony due to the payment amount made to him. I can only say he had 12 weeks to finish the job, and I have tried every week to make contact with him. Nothing----silence from Dan as usual. My recommendation is stay far away from this company, they are a complete fraud that will take your money and not finish the job. If you do use them - DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETED!!. But really there are much better company's who will do the work they are paid for, and you have been warned.

Over 3 day period I had 3 no call backs as to bids and two that seemed to want to retire from doing my job(outrageous bids). I then started over my search and called Corey who answered the phone right away and very friendly. He said he could get out and bid the project within 48 hours. He did so and when he told me the price it was a no-brainer. Because he has VERY GOOD Prices, he is booked up for about 3 weeks which was not a problem for me. He got me the written price bid over right away and I signed right away. 3 weeks later as promised the job was completed. Again this was a complete tree removal job and everything was hauled away and left clean. If you google the address you can see in the backyard there were 3 huge trees and 5 small ones(before picture) Drive by today and no trees in backyard(after picture). Get a few other bids but call him last and you will see the deal you are getting. I have already had him remove another tree on a property just purchased.

He sub contracted to people who had no experience in design, and I had to personally micro-manage/design for them (not my goal) -- they showed up with out the plants i'd requested and reluctantly went to buy some of what I wanted. Sub contractor bad mouthed the owner all day. They planted things in full sun designed to go in partial shade, didn't put enough mulch in to cover the ground, etc.... Now two months later I have $600 in dead trees, certified Arborists saying those trees don't do well in our climate/soil and a company who won't back their work. Spend your money elsewhere.

I hired them to perform a simple job, add a small patch of sod to my back yard on level ground that was already irrigated. What I was left with was a patchy, uneven framework of grass. When I told them it was unsatisfactory they assured me would it "level itself and fill in". That did not happen. So they promised to come back and fix the issue. 6 weeks later nothing has happened and the area looks just as bad as it did day 1. To make it worse, they kept falsely promising week over week that they were going to stop by, even the owner said he would come by to take a look after I called to complain, but each week they no showed prompting me to have to call to reschedule and then reschedule and then reschedule, and so on. Now I don't even get responses. TLDR: Do not use this service. They give landscapers a bad name.
