This place is closer to the city center than the others but still you need to climb some small hills to get there, and more if you follow the google map directions, lol. The show was astonishing. The show is in cave, which adds more character to the presentation. The dancers seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and they were dancing like they were in front of a big or knowledgeable audience. I do not know much about this dance , but I found the show very entertaining and I could feel all the emotion from the dancing . All dancers were good but one of the female dancer was extraordinary. I think it was my highlight of the Granada trip. Well done !!

Fortunately the venue was half-full and we were promptly seated. For €10 per person, including one glass of sangria, it was a steal. The flamenco performance (guitarist, two vocalists, and a dancer) was very good--on par, if not better, than the other, rather overpriced, flamenco shows we saw in Madrid and Barcelona.

Since the seating was more theater-style, my seats at Jardines de Zoraya were better. However, the performance itself wasn't as impressive as the other shows I saw during my trip. They leaned a bit too much into contemporary elements with their outfits, when in reality, most tourists are looking for the classic flamenco experience--polka dots, ruffled dresses, and all.

The slow cooked beef was just as tender and delicious. Didn't even miss the protein in the lasagna very cheesy and delicious. Service: The wait staff was top notch. According to my Malagueña friend, this place used to be a dance club before it was recently renovated into a flamenco tablao/school. The show takes place upstairs on the 2nd floor at night, and there is a flamenco class held downstairs on the first floor during the day time. The flamenco performance starts at 8:30pm every night and on Monday night the cover charge was only 3 Euros per person(!) Depending on the day, you may just get a recorded music instead of the accompanying live flamenco music. When we saw the show on weekday night, 4 female dancers performed for about an hour and they kept changing their costume for almost every song. Although I enjoyed the show, I can't help but wish there was a male dancer too because it makes such a huge difference!! Also the venue has a weird stage set up(you'll know what I mean when you see it) with limited seatings so the reservation is a must.Considering the price, I can't really compare this to the really powerful and spectacular flamenco performance I've seen at Arenal in Sevilla years ago because that won't be fair. For a mere 3 euro cover, you get more than eyeful of flamencas dancing passionately, which is an amazing deal!! I'm not sure if the price on other days is the same. The food and drinks are cheap, I recommend their 6 Euros 4 montaditos combo in which you can choose from 4 different toppings. Their sliders (hamburguesas) are not bad, too. And for every drink, you get a small plate of jamon and aceitunas. 6 of us got 1-2 drinks each and shared a few plates of tapas and only paid about 10 euros each, including the cover charge. This is a fantastic deal guys, I bet this place is going to be even more popular! Warning!! - at the end of the show, the flamenco dancers will try to pick someone from the audience to dance with them. My naughty friends told them to pick me!!! My friends had a blast watching me making a fool out of myself, but oh well, whatever!!

We did not visit the museum, unless you count the gift shop. We did however attend the flamenco theater. The play is about a poem written by a respected Granada writer. The poem is about incest and rape, so not a very happy play. The performance is an interpretation of the poem with the use of music, song, and flamenco dance. There's not a lot of participants (two dancers and two musicians) and the venue seats about 20 people. The performers are very humble and true thespians, performing solely to entertain and enjoy their craft. Very talented performers so I would recommend this if you are in the mood for something a little bit different and unique.
