However, I'm not getting any younger, and realized I needed to start making an effort for my physical health. I took a class at ZTB based on the recommendation from a friend. I was hooked from the beginning. The environment at ZTB is positive and uplifting. The owner Lisa leads by example, and has developed an amazing culture of health, fun, and enthusiasm. One of my favorite aspects of ZTB is the variety of classes. The classes offer opportunities for beginners to those more advanced. The instructors do a phenomenal job of making sure everyone in class is comfortable. If a modification is needed, the instructors provide guidance, if you need to challenge yourself, the instructors will give you pointers there too!

I look forward to working with her every day. Like a lot of the other reviews mention; I don't even feel like I've been there an hour; it goes by so fast! But the workouts are intense and are set up in a way that I always feel motivated to push myself. (More than I ever have before) I am happy to report that I am signing up for a year membership; as well as their 6 week body transformation that starts in a couple of weeks. (Nutrition based). If you haven't found a gym or program that works for you, I urge you to try TF for a month!

On top of which, he's dependable and stays in touch with you if you have any questions outside of class.

Having a background general management has taught me the more incentives you give your staff the harder they will work . With that being said she will have your gym at full capacity. First, I had posted in my neighborhood facebook group and I think 85% of the people who commented recommended this place, and they were doing 7 free classes, so I decided to try it out! I would like to thank John, for not being pushy AT ALL for trying to make me join and immediately made me feel welcomed for my first workout. I even had a member there tell me good job after my workout (it's the little things that count ) It's hard, but so rewarding when you finish the workouts. The workouts make the 55 minutes go by so fast! AND, the membership pricing varies and is very affordable, especially for the experience and level. I can tell it's such a great group of members and trainers and I can't wait to see how much I improve and get STRONGER! Thanks for me neighbors for recommending, I will do the same :)

When I tell you that Blue Ocean has changed my life, I really mean it…read more My two closest friends started working out here a couple of years ago, and after finally giving in to peer pressure, I decided to give it a shot last January. I'm coming up on my one year mark and I can honestly say it has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself! I never felt great about any gyms I've belonged to in the past. I'm not a huge group class person, and personal training has always been $$$$$. Enter: semi-personal training! Basically, each of the trainers here has a few clients at one time, but it still feels, well... personal. You get your own workout, there are just others around you doing theirs, and it actually adds a fun element of community at the same time. Instead of working out so hard that you can barely walk the next morning, the approach here is more reasonable and based on intentional repetition vs. killing yourself. I typically do three circuits made up of 3-4 exercises, 3-4 times each. My muscle growth has been slow but extremely consistent, and I'm finally seeing the exact results I've always wanted. Working out three times per week at Blue Ocean has kept me feeling so strong and healthy. As a bonus, when I have to travel for work, I can pause my membership--and they even give me workouts to do on the road. The trainers are fantastic people, and the clientele is great, too. I look forward to belonging to Blue Ocean for a long time!

An all-levels fitness center located across from Boeing off Lindbergh and Mcdonnell Rd, this small business owner is 1000% invested in your success. He and his team of trainers, which includes his wife, make fitness a priority for all members of your family and at all stages of your life and fitness journey. They have fitness packages to fit your budget, so that you can invest in your body to build a better you. I enjoy the varied workouts! Every time I come I have a different workout routine that keeps it interesting and keeps me motivated. Arthur and his team offers private personal training, small group training, large group training and fitness classes. His team of personnel can also customize a diet and nutrition plan for you as well! Arthur and his wife participate in body-building competitions, so if you are looking to build muscle for personal gain or to compete, they can help you accomplish those goals as well. He and his team embrace a lifestyle of health and fitness and you can't help but to be motivated by that and want to be trained by some of the best in St. Louis. Another thing that is important to me is customization and friendliness. Everyone wants a trainer who is friendly and personable as well as the person who can kick you into high gear to get results. The customization aspect is the fact that instead of them having a "one size fits all" approach to diet and workouts, they have a conversation with you about your lifestyle and give you the components for success in order to meet your goals. It is up to you to implement all or some of this plan and based on your choice, your results will reflect that. I am all about supporting small business and I am proud to support Arthur and his team in helping build a generation of healthy and fit people that are able to live their best lives.
