Today I arrived right as the store opened to return a pair of shoes that didn't fit my son. When the manager was called over due to no tag, she inspected the shoe to find something wrong with it to deny my refund. She said the inside of the shoe was dirty which clearly it was not since it was only tried on with white socks for size. I simply asked her what difference would it make if I came back and just went to the next person who would take them back. She rudely responded, "Who are you telling me what I can or can't do?" I took my shoes back home with me. While I was there, I purchased the additional pair for my son to try on at home. Later in the evening we returned and I did end up getting my refund from someone else. The shoes weren't even on sale, so I wouldn't really find them to be a true "outlet". I really wished I had gotten her name because she was the rudest retail manager I have everything encountered, especially during the holiday season.

When I returned to the store on March 14th with the receipt, box and defective shoes, the employee (Catelyn, who later said she was the manager) refused to help. She first claimed she would speak with the manager, then later said she was the manager and there was no one else I could speak to. Even with the receipt proving the purchase date, she said she could not confirm the purchase because she was not the salesperson who sold the shoes, essentially implying that I could be lying. This is unacceptable for a premium product from a brand like ASICS. The shoes failed after two days of light use, and instead of helping, the store staff chose to question the customer's honesty and provide no solution. Very disappointing experience.
