It was hot as ever on a Sunday afternoon put our sunscreen on. My son highly enjoyed the game we left early due to the weather but we're still sore a good majority of the game. This is a long one haha! We came to watch the Grizzlies game Saturday night. The firm I work for…read morehas season passes to games and the Kodiak club so we usually watch a couple games each season. We aren't huge baseball fans but live games are fun and the buffet and A/C at the Kodiak club on the second floor is a treat. With work schedules, this was our first game of the season and it was so disappointing. First, we were "late" arriving at 5:30 which we could have sworn was the normal time the club opens for evening games. Apparently doors opened earlier because there was no line at the gate and no tables left when we got upstairs. Huge bummer to have to eat outside in the stands. At least there's shade! It was Italian night with spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, eggplant, gnocchi, Caesar salad, Waldorf salad and a salad bar to make your own. Everything was delicious. There was also a station with really tasty smash burgers. However, they only brought out 6 at a time and didn't tell anyone that was the hold up. That was really annoying. They also added pretzel bites that you could have with the nacho cheese sauce for the nachos. They still had hot dogs but Unfortunately, they didn't have the chili for the hot dogs. The other big change in the Kodiak club was desserts were not put out with the other food. Rather there were little signs saying they would be put out at the 4th inning. Annoying but ok. At the start of the 4th I saw a worker with a tray of cannolis going to the burger station so I followed her. Usually you serve yourself but she was handing people one cannoli. I asked for one for my husband. The worker calls out to the worker next to her and says I want two. He takes the longest pause and then just holds up two fingers. What the hell?? The cannolis tasted chalky so that was a waste. Then people start crowding around the dessert table. Another worker came out with a big multi stand food carrier. She unwraps the plastic wrap around it and asks that people wait until she is done putting out all of the plates before taking any. Ok no problem. But by the time she's done there's a lot of people and it's a little chaotic. As she leaves she tells the two other workers that it's like this every time. If you create a chaotic scene, what do you expect? The reason I gave three stars is the tasty food and the game itself! We love to watch our local team - even when they don't win haha I like the entertainment between plays. The upper section where we sit is usually full which adds to the fun vibe. There is a box office (open on game days) at the southwest end of stadium but you can purchase tickets on gofan too! This is also where the entrance is. The restrooms are a bit of a walk to the north end of the stadium but there are plenty of stalls and they are clean! Only issue tonight was that the water was stuck in hot. Adults could deal but kiddos were having a hard time. The food trucks and snack bars were over on this north end of the stadium too. About 4 different food truck options. Plus an all cash snack bar that supports the school. There was a bag check and wand check but no requirement to bring clear bags or anything like that. We brought snacks for our toddler, and were good to go.

They should not have kids in charge of pointing cars which way to park and they need walkie talkies to communicate with each other. Way too many people in such tight spaces in a lot of areas. The lines were all over the place. So we didn't know which lines were to which ride. We would ask people which lines they were in and they said they don't know or they think it's this ride... I bought the wristbands online and in advance for $40. When we get to the fair, if you buy there it's buy one get one FREE! We thought buying in advance and online would be better but apparently not... so we wasted $40. The good thing was the kids got to enjoy the less busy rides the first hour or so before the crowds came. Food was not great. I was expecting good fair food but when people are cooking in larger batches I guess they don't know how to season or cook it correctly. We will stick with the Big Fresno Fair yearly.

There are so many animals to visit and see, and a lot of barns and auction areas for their 4H and FFA kids. I especially love all of their entertainment, sterling and shows both. They had metal detectors at the entrance and there was a bunch of people going through to go through the detector. Then it seemed like there were taking a long time to check the tickets. There was a couple of ladies that didn't have the tickets from ticket master and there were not going through. So that made a wait. I really didn't like the way everything was going. Go ally we got to the metal detectors and we finally came in. The lines for the bathroom were long and it was very hot inside. Felt like a sauna. I don't know if I want to go back there. The concert on the other hand. It was great! Shakira gave a great show. Very professional and she is so pretty. I definitely enjoyed her music and dances. All the show was very great. Once the show was done it was another mess to get out of the stadium. I have gone to other stadiums and it does not seem like that. They are more organized.

the ladies who work here are lovely! what a charming space…read moreof history. we soaked up all the relics of the past, learning about clovis & those who made this place their home way before our time. it's free to walk through this museum, but you can leave a donation in the box near the front desk. there is no gift shop, but there are a few things you can buy as souvenirs when you first walk in: large sticker, magnets, fun toys for little ones. also check hours because they're open during a small window in the day. worth a visit. the clothing & music boxes alone that's been preserved is well worth viewing. they have class photos through the decades & it's amazing to see the population growth, differences in hairstyles through the years, just a wonderment to see. when you're done here, you can shop the many antique shops all around this museum.

I think my fave was The fruit of life and The contemporary art exhibit, using stones from Zimbabwe (I can't remember the name). They have an outdoor area where you can sit under trees and they also have sculptures out there as well. They also have a great little gift shop! Definitely check it out and support Fresno's Art museum. Afterwards you can go to lunch at Sam's Italian deli across the street or Thai Phucket near by!

We came with our kids, including my 10-year-old daughter, who is an artist and was genuinely excited to be there. Instead of feeling welcomed, we were treated like our presence was a nuisance. The staff was extremely strict and repeatedly barked orders at us, with very little customer service or warmth. In one area that had children's blocks, our kids were playing and got a little loud. Wanting to be considerate, my husband closed the door so they wouldn't disturb others. There were no signs anywhere saying the door couldn't be closed. A staff member then came in, visibly upset, and yelled at us--again, with no clear explanation or signage to justify the reaction. Later in the gift shop, another staff member sharply reprimanded my kids for leaning on the glass. Once again, no signs were posted, and the tone was unnecessarily harsh. None of this felt kid-friendly or welcoming. It's unfortunate, because the art and the artists deserve better representation. The staff's behavior made it hard to enjoy the exhibits at all, and it completely turned us off from what could have been a great family experience. We had even considered a membership, but after being treated this way, we will not be returning. The art is wonderful. The customer service is not. ### In response to the owner's reply: your response reinforces exactly why we will not be returning. Your tone comes across as condescending and punitive, with the majority of your response focused on what we supposedly did wrong rather than how your staff handled the situation. Saying you will "talk to your staff" reads like an afterthought when roughly 90% of your response places blame on us. We are fully aware that this is not a children's museum or an interactive museum. The fact that you felt the need to explain this only adds to the condescension. Our children were respectful, quiet, and well-behaved. They were not running, not acting out, and not treating the space inappropriately. In the designated children's area, their voices briefly rose while playing together. Out of courtesy to other guests, my husband closed the door--unaware it was not meant to be closed or that it locks automatically, as there was no signage indicating this. The staff's response was unnecessarily aggressive. You offer a family pass, which implies families are welcome. A family-friendly environment should not make parents and children feel like a nuisance. Because of both the original experience and the tone of your response, I am updating my review from two stars to one star.

(It really is huge, I think about 6 baseball/softball fields, and I think we counted at least 6 soccer fields). 2) Do I wish that the location was better placed in relation to the smell of landfill- that's a resounding of course! However, if I'm honest, the smell doesn't become as noticeable once you've been there for a few minutes. Overall, The fields for baseball/softball and soccer are decent enough, and the facilities, including spectator benches are in great condition. Lighting included. You can't get these kinds of conditions at any park in Fresno. They also have plenty of gazebo spaces and playground areas. There is also a small pond near here (on the vineyard side), and my husband says that he saw someone fishing, but I don't know all about how that works. I also don't know the process of reserving any of these spaces for private use, but I'm sure you could find that info on their website.
