Even though I live in the States I always stop by here for a meal when I'm in the area. What's the food like? It's a very typical local dish : dough, melted butter, salt, and cumin seeds in a wood fired brick oven. How could you not like that? You should drink white wine or hot tea with the meal. Delicious but definitely not low cal or non fat ! They need a minimum of 5 customers per evening to fire the brick oven so call ahead and make a reservation ! Enjoy !

I love to walk up the hill into the old part of town and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. There is no better place to do this than here. There is a fantastic view overlooking the lake and town from this Tea Room. Everything is fresh and hand made, and the owners are fantastic. I have eaten here on several occasions and I have never been disappointed. I take all my out of town guests here and they fall in love. One of my favorite visits is when the owner shared with us his home made pumpkin soup that was cooking outside in a large cauldron. That was the best pumpkin soup I have ever had. They have a selection of pastries, sandwiches, home made cakes, and fresh baked breads to choose from. We have bought a cake here for a dinner event, and it tasted as amazing as it looked. We have eaten here a couple of times and the sandwiches and pastries are great. I have also picked up bread on the way home, and it is pretty good. I still prefer the fresh baked bread that I pick up at the bakery in Prangins, but the bread here is good.
