Don't even go to this branch. Drive thru is always closed and the lobby always has a sign on the door saying the lobby is temporarily closed. Uh hello one of them needs to be open for the bank to work. And if you are lucky enough to get there when the drive thru is open, plan on waiting what seems like an eternity. Convenient hours: yes. Good customer service: no... There's always long waiting for stupid things that take no time in other banks. They look as they don't know what they are doing. If you come in needing to see someone other than a teller that wait can sometimes be very long. Also there is not much seating in the waiting area so come being prepared to stand. When opening a new account make sure you ask about any fee's that may arise after the first year of opening the account. Otherwise I have no complaints. read more

I have been a customer at Commerce Bank for about 5 years or more. Several weeks ago my partner and I went to Commerce Bank at Biscayne Blvd (above address) to use their notary services (free for customers). We spoke to Ms Kadeen Thompson who explained that we were missing a document, and was very rude to my partner. We went home to get the document and returned to the bank. We politely requested an apology, which was denied by both Ms. Thompson and the Assistant Manager Mr. Manes Jean. All we wanted was a simple apology, which was refused. Further contact to the manager of the bank Mr. Dan Martinez was also unsuccessful in getting an apology from Ms. Thompson who point blank refused. Our contacts to the Fort Lauderdale area office were also unsuccessful in getting an apology. Commerce Bank is great in other respects, but we advise potential customers should stay away from the Biscayne Blvd Branch as branch personnel tend to be surly, rude and mistreating customers. The sole exception being the counter staff. read more

Horrible bank with horrible service! Take your business elsewhere, you have been warned!! They treated my family members with utter contempt after trying to open a business account. All proper documentation was provided and they still refused to open the account, citing it was about compliance. When the nasty and rude manager was asked for details, she did not know how to respond...because she is a liar. An account was opened at a much larger nationwide institution in about 10 minutes with no hassle. I see them going the way of the dodo bird in the near future. If you like a rude, inattentive, and lying staff who can't handle the power of opening and handling people's accounts without it getting to their heads then this is the place for you. It blows my mind that this bank had bad reviews. I needed to open a checking account separate from my regular one so I could join Planet Fitness. The stupid company won't take credit cards any more and there was no way I was giving them my regular bank account number with all my money in it. Signing up for a new account was so easy. The guy who signed me up was very pleasant and helpful. There were several people sitting waiting to be seen by someone other than a regular bank teller and I didn't wait more than about 3 minutes. It was cool to get my debit card with my name on it right there on the spot. Good location, clean, they allow DOGS! , they have bike parking, they are open 7 days a week and they have free notaries even if you are not a member of the bank! Wow! I wish I signed up here first instead of bank of America but Ive had that account for a long time and needed something nationwide at the time. Im excited to be a new member of this bank. It makes me wonder if the bad reviews are from people who were all having a bad day. lol. The only thing I feel they could change about the bank is the carpet at the entrance. I think it would look better without any carpet at all. It is however cool that they don't have the ropes that guide you in a line, its just all open and because of that feels roomy and nice. read more

I feel that TD Bank is the very best out there. I have two other banks that I deal with and I never get the friendly warm feeling that I get here, especially at the Biscayne branch. My wife I have been thinking about moving all of our assets to TD Bank....great job guys. read more
