I have been using TD Bank, N.A since they purchased Commerce Bank, I had always felt that there was a very positive attitude on the way they took that extra step to make you feel more than simply account number. We had used a different nation wide bank and it was obvious that our business or how much money you had in various accounts did not mean that they would take the time to every remember your name. The attitude of the corporate structure dictated every aspect of the way each branch was run. When we switched to TD Bank,we went close our accounts at the other bank, the strange and most interesting aspect was that a new branch manager had taken over and no one even asked why we were closing our accounts. I must state that the feeling and atmosphere at TD Bank was and still is based on a very personal level. It is nice to know the names of the staff and it is a very positive that the attitude of TD Bank's Corporation that they always encourage their staff in branch to know and acknowledge their clients. They are very successful in their approach due to the way they make banking a less stressful experience. I wanted to set up a Savings Account for an upcoming trip. So, at times I receive checks and misc cash and thought I should make a deposit with a live person. Well, I provided the Savings Account #, my TD Bank Debit Card, my ID with the items to deposit. The teller was so rude, he asked for additional ID and was staring at me through the window. I'm afraid to make a deposit. The jury is still out on whether I want to keep my money in this weird place. The guy treated me like I was a criminal and they are lucky I'm giving them 2 stars, I give them a "O". I reported the incident to Customer Service and their comment was there has been a lot of fraud there, my comment is not everyone is a criminal. read more

Some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. EHT TD has been phenomenal with not only me (new customer) but my mother and grandmother for years. I came in to do a wire transfer and without surprise, the bank was packed. The teller at the front was kind enough to step away to assist me with the sign in process. I was then greeted by Jessica, one of the customer service reps. Not only was she extremely helpful and thoughrough, she's also extremely polite and understands how to communicate with her customers. Without delay, she proceesed my wire transfer, fast tracked / set me up with my debit card and meticulously went through every detail to ensure I understood every bit. A current commercial for TD states that they stay open 10 minutes after closing. Not this branch..... I went there one day and had to go inside to see someone in person and the door was already locked 5 minutes BEFORE closing time. There were still employees inside that just looked at me as I tried to open a locked door. Another day I went and had to stand in a very long line. After about 15 minutes of the line not moving the manager came out and apologized stating that they had a bunch of people off for the day due to graduations. You would think she would have scheduled other employees to work or at that point (where the line was going out the door) she would have went behind the desk and worked. Well today I went to this branch because I found out that I got deducted $15 for mainteance fee and I was hoping that they would do a one time courtesy waiver for me. The person that I spoke with her name is Leaksa Cuadrado at first she told me that I actually been hit with mainteance fee twice already so she won't be able to waive that fee for me since it happened more than once, but then she helped change my checking account from convience to simple, which I have to pay $6 per month but I no longer need a minumum balance, but toward the end she told me that she gonna ask her manager to see if the fee could be waived, I lost all hope at that point but to my surprise she was able to waive at least one charge for me and got me $15 refund back. She was very nice and geninue to me and I am sticking with TD bank since there's still nice employee like her that willing to help out people like me. Sorry for the horrible spelling lol. read more

Small business banking here is a joke. The manager was rude, they will try to sign you up for unnecessary services and will not tell you about the fees that you can avoid. Terrible service even worse when I went to close the account. Stay far away from this branch and this bank. read more
