So the bank refused and still refuses to protect his Checking account! This is someone's like, Livelihood they are messing with, now.. Not Credit! They said he authorized it.. He didn't, he was sick at home and nobody here ate over a $100.00 worth of African food... so whatever Provident Bank You FAIL!! I hope the Fraud dept get the Karma they deserve, because that was purely Vile treatment by a bank that is supposed to be protecting our money! WOW! I think it's super cute that when I bring my dog and use the drive up teller, they give him dog treats. He certainly is impressed as well. Exiting the parking lot is tricky. It's right on Main Street in Milltown and unfortunately for me, I have to make a left to get home, which is near impossible. The exit is right by a turning lane for cars to turn left onto Ford Ave. Really dangerous intersection.

She says something about it being a problem and hands him back the 2 counterfeit bills. I am outraged as he is going to pass them off on someone else I am sure. Is this ok? It turns out that Kenya who gave back the counterfit money is an acting branch manger. She lied to my face and said she knew the customer and that he knew who gave him the bills. When in fact he said he did not know. She said she had the right to do that. We argued and i asked her for her supervisor to call me. I should have gotten his number. The arrogance of her pissed me off even more.

The outdoor ATM, also on the side of the building facing Rt. 18, is uncovered and next to the main entrance. During my last visit, the ATM was out of order and I had to enter the branch to use a human teller, who took forever to withdraw $20 cash for me and then tried to upsell me on a balance transfer I didn't need. It annoyed me so much I decided I'd rather support a smaller, more family oriented banking institution. What I love about this credit union: -personalized service- people already know my name! -very old school- call in and they'll mail you a check -only $5.00 to open an account -my immediate family members can join -low as heck interest rates on car and personal loans -exempt from paying car loan in summer months because I'm in education What's not so convenient: -not as many ATM's available -outdated interent and bill pay services -when checking account online, transactions don't always post immediately I'm going to stick with them for a while and see if I can grow some patience while working on not being just another person who needs everything done for me at lightning speeds.

Recent years they have a security guard that opens the door for you when you come and go. That's different! Usually two tellers, maybe three if it's busy are operating at a time. And another for the drive-thru deposits. When I needed more in depth assistance I went to Harry and I believe, Sonia, and they were so friendly, patient, and just nice to talk and ask questions. Never felt rushed or talked down to. Usually always someone around to ask for assistance, say you're looking around to get to your safety deposit box. It's not flooded with employees (that would be overkill and rather annoying if each one asked you if you needed help), but not so few where you are waiting around searching under desks to find someone who works there. The tellers are friendly where they will exchange some pleasantries, like the weather, what are you doing over the holiday, etc. There is one teller that I always dread seeing, and I forget her name. Nice woman, but she seems to think she knows me, but only remembers me from years back, so each time she refers to something, it's like, from 10 plus years ago! And in that case, I wish she would just deposit the money and not talk. Overall, good place. I use online banking for most things, and the app to do small deposits.
