I then called Sara who is a supervisor. She claims she can't refund our money due to I cannot prove the underwriters saw or new about that information on my credit report that they had prior to my conditional approval . She then informed me that my 500.00 deposit was already spent. Wow, spent my money immediately after my 4 day aporoval. I was seen in about 3 to 5 mins. I was in the office to renew my homeowners insurance and to bundle it with insurance on my car. There were several questions I was curious about. When I asked why my policy was for 280k when assessed value of home was only 135k I was told I would need to show appraisal...this made no sense to me. I own the house, no mortgage, why would I need to provide any documentation on what I wish to insure it for, unless I'm trying to insure for more than it's worth but that is not the case. I asked about modifications to additional coverages as I'm trying to get the cheapest rate and frankly they aren't anything I'm interested in. I was told I would not be able to modify it at this time but if I paid premium then I could amend and receive a refund of the difference.i then tried to get info on renewal of car insurance. I had regretfully allowed it to expire in June 26. I was told my policy would increase. When I asked why. I guess Ms Coburn, already irritated at my questions, called me rude. I stood up and walked away without comment. When I was walking away Ms Coburn began to hollar at me wishing me a nice day even as i had already left the office. I find this type of behavior to fall into the category of poor customer service. I was extremely surprised by the agents response and in all the years I've had insurance at this office it was the first time I was not satisfied with service rendered i will not be back to this office for any insurance needs
