We love this little spot, especially in the summertime, after a day on the boat. The employees are always friendly and we love seeing all the families that love to come here, as well. We have never gotten the food here, but we have gotten chocolate malts, milkshakes, shaved ice, ice cream, and a few other items. Terrible service , they were taking an order and making everyone else stand there while they completed the order before taking the next. Took an hour to complete 5 orders. Ice cream portions used to be a lot more generous. They still use Tony's Ice Cream, which is the best, but the portions shrunk.

This review is for their food. I haven't tried their ice cream or shaved ice. It looked good from what I could see if it. Guys... the hamburgers are terrible! They use the cheapest meat (if it is even meat) and there is no flavor at all. You can get a better burger down the road at Burger King. The fries are like those cheap off brand crinkle fries in the grocery store. They taste more like water than potatoes. They are not salted. Mine were mostly soggy. My dogs enjoyed them. Go figure. Then jalapeño poppers also have no flavor. Unless you like that over fried, burnt breading taste. Yuck! I took the breading off and tried the pepper and cheese. Not much flavor. Ended up feeding them to the dogs too. They also weren't all that impressed. The fried mushrooms were the worst of all. They were completely soggy and tasted horrible. My dogs wouldn't eat these at all. Spit them out and left them on the floor. Save your money and taste buds. Go somewhere else for a burger and fries. read more

Ordered two Sundaes....listed on their menu - two scoops of ice cream, one topping, and a cherry. I added whipped cream and was charged 4.75 instead of 4.25 because the worker charged me for a two topping sundae. When I asked about it, I was told there was nothing they could do and no information could be given to talk to the owner or manager. While a $1 is not a lot of money, if they are over charging each customer, they are making a lot of extra money. Also the table next to us got two scoops of ice cream and their ice cream was over the top of the cup. The whole sundae only filled 3/4 of the cup. This was a one and done visit. Update: I was mysteriously given a credit of $1.09 on my credit card so my review changed from one star to two stars. read more

We waited a hour to get our milkshakes there today. The people lost our order and said someone took our order. We even give a tip and they were ugly to us not believing us. The hubby suggested a late evening ice cream run and who am I to say no? I have driven past here many times, but this was my first trip here. I had onion rings alongside a double scoop of Tony's chocolate ice cream. Both were delish! My cone was melting fast and eaten faster and the onion rings were freshly fried and quite tasty! I ate them with ketchup this time, and took myself back to the county fair and the smell of grease and fried foods! My hubby got a root beer float and sadly was disappointed. He only had a small scoop of ice cream and by the time he got to the table, a melted cup of flat root beer and cream. He said "make a note, don't get a float". He said he would go back and just get ice cream next time! Local place, friendly folks, nice outdoor seating area.
